An apex predator, exlcusive to the lost lands, the Carnetheos is a large carnivorous almost monster-like creature. They are incredibly unpredictable, and fully taming one is close to impossible. One second, their you're loyal dinosaur companion, the next their eating your organs out in front of your eyes. Due to this unpredictablity, if you encounter one, you're chances depend on how its brain is wired at the moment. They are also incredibly fast, being able to scale trees with ease and use their long arms at legs when needed to run fast. These creatures hunt in various different ways, such as impalement via spikes, claws or teeth. Being shaken to death via jaws, and poison with either the venom from their spikes or the saliva of their tail mouth. These creatures hunt when they are hungry, and sleep when they are tired, meaning you are never safe. They have Analgesia, which means they are commonly injured or scarred, and will sometimes even have vital organs dragging with them. Males are 2x as small as females, during late fall they must attack a female in hopes to overpower and impress her enough into mating with him, however if this is unsuccessful, she will kill him. Females will guard their young up for a year until they are ready to leave.
