Jenna Ushkowitz News

So you guys probably realized that I’ve stopped updating this blog almost 3 months ago. I apologize for not warning you or giving you an explanation any sooner but this is me confirming that jushkowitznews is over.

Running this fanblog for 4 years was great but I couldn’t see myself doing it any longer. When I started it I was online very often and really into fandoms and such but now I don’t have the time anymore. I’m too busy and most of all, I’ve lost interest. Don’t get me wrong, I still care about Jenna but it’s different now. After running a blog like that for so long, you start seeing your celeb differently. Whenever I saw a new picture of Jenna or news about her my first thought wasn’t “Oh that great!” it was “Oh shit I have to post it right now!”. It stopped feeling like something I was doing for fun and started to feel like a job. A nice job for sure, but still. I loved taking care of this blog, I really really did and sometimes I miss it a little (it was weird not to do anything during the Tonys for example) but I was getting bored, losing interest and I felt like no one really cared about the work I did here. During the last months running this blog, I started posting things late more and more often, I would stay inactive for multiple days even though I had the time to post. In short, I pretty much stopped caring. I didn’t want to give up at first because this blog means a lot to me but what was the point in keeping a blog that I didn’t feel like updating anymore? So I finally decided to stop. I didn’t think it would ever happen, I even was working on new pages including a gallery for this website but I have to put myself first and it’s better for me to move on to new things.

I want to say that I’m sorry to the few of you who really liked this blog and thought it was useful but most of all I want to thank you all for following me all these years, for being kind to me even when others weren’t. I will not delete this blog, it will stay up as an archive.
