but  anyway,  my  dog  agatha  (  female,  7  yrs  )  was  diagnosed  two  months  ago  with  a  tumor  in  her  left  leg  and  was  given  2  weeks  to  live  but  she's  held  on  (  with  ups  and  downs  )  for  6  now.  a  few  days  ago  she  was  bitten  by  a  tick  and  despite  OUR  best  efforts,  she  bit  a  huge  chunk  out  of  her  leg  to  remove  the  tick  herself  but  she  was  cleaned  up  and  bandaged.  my  brother  told  me  earlier  that  her  leg  that  was  rock  hard,  swollen  and  stiff  is  getting  looser.  it's  probably  due  to  how  much  she  bled  when  she  bit  herself  but  it  also  might  mean  she's  healing.  her  left  leg  is  completely  useless  now,  she's  learned  how  to  walk  on  three  legs  but  to  remove  her  leg  is  roughly  $4k  CAD  and  she  may  not  survive  but  we're  keeping  her  comfortable  with  medication  and  anything  we  can  do.  i'm  hoping  she'll  live  and  survive  but  knowing  her  leg  is  getting  less  swollen  is  good  but  i'm  not  sure  what'll  happen  now.
