Surrounded by nothing but fire, he nipped at your bottom lip, piercing the skin and licking the wound with excited gentleness. You were paralyzed, enchanted by his everlasting gaze. Leaving yourself fully at his mercy, you hoped to dissolve into his chest as your bodies went up in flames.

You woke up with a jolt, tragically hugged only by your comforter. The heat from your dream seemed to linger, radiating from your core down your torso until the tips of your toes and fingers. You buried your face into your pillow, muffling a scream of frustration.
