I don't hate the original Anubis but I wish that the characters looked more Egyptian. Saamon, Ram, Herse, Dia, and Titian have the most African facial features and the story doesn't really highlight them.

Need Zane bad but like he's so indoctrinated. It's spooky. Like baby, they are trying to get us. Lock in please. He reminds me of Kamal a little. Both men of honor and duty which I love but Kamal is a little more flexible in idealogy, Zane seems to be a bit more rigid. A lot of people have been complaining about his lack of flirtation but I don't mind, overly flirty men give me the ick. Which is why I can't completely go in for Xander. His persistent use of the word "toy" is really vomit inducing.

He's a bit of a fiend but I want him too...
