Here’s a phenomenal candidate for World’s Most Awesome Simpsons Tattoo. This tremendous group portrait features 203 characters from The Simpsons and it’s worn with pride by Michael Baxter, a 60-year-old grandfather and prison guard living in Barwon, Australia. He really is hoping that his back piece will win him a Guinness World Record for the most tattoos from a single cartoon series.

Baxter spent about 130 hours of time at Twisted By Design Tattoo Studio with tattoo artist Jade Baxter-Smith working on this extensive project. It’s fun to pick out and identify the characters. We love that he also chose to include scenes and locations from Springfield itself, including Moe’s Tavern, the classic Simpsons family couch scene and Mr. Burns’ nuclear power plant. We hope the Springfield Tire Fire is in there somewhere too.
