Thinking about punching straight on the nose does seem to help. It puts Juliet’s restlessness at ease, especially when she side glances his way. He’s placing his order, which makes this even more uninteresting, until Aidan decides to make this into a credible game. Juliet’s eyebrow rises, eyes flicker to the fingers on her hand, back to the waitress.  “Are those the only options I have, darling? This menu is quite extensive...” She has to grin and she slides the menu back to the center of the table for the waitress to take. “I’ll take the salmon carpaccio and the arugula salad with the vinaigrette on the side. Thank you”. When the waitress turns and leaves, menu’s tucked under her arm, she playfully rests her chin on top of her hand. “If I had known we were playing the role of a couple I would’ve picked a different outfit”.

She takes the glass of sparkling water while she tears a piece of the free bread sticks on the middle of the table, scanning the menu of the restaurant they followed Brad to twenty minutes ago. Juliet leans over, closer, so she can drop her voice in case someone would want to eavesdrop into their conversation. “We’ve been trailing him for three hours and all we’ve seen him do is buy an ugly polo shirt, lift weights at the gym, and buy coffee before picking this subpar Italian restaurant.” She rolls her eyes. “He’s even eating alone and I’m officially bored out of my mind. Do you want a drink? I’d like a drink. Strong.”

Of course. We both have Tucker’s best interest in mind.

I think its better for both of us if we keep certain things on a need-to-know basis.

Lets watch that. How about you sit on the couch and start it while I get you something to drink?

I was... reading actually, but that’s not a two person activity. How about we watch a movie? What’s your favorite one?

Its not my first time following abusive dominants so i’m definitely willing to lend a hand. Someone has to look out for Tucker though, so I think it should be a split job -- and no, she doesn’t know yet. For now. We should tell her when we know we have a working plan.

I’ll ask Tucker when she’s due for her VShot. We could tail him for a couple of days, but I don’t think he’s the kind of guy that’ll get his supply off the street. If he’s getting it from a doctor who’s willing to break his hippocratic oath for this and hasn’t been caught yet, they must be very careful. 

As attractive as a hands-on, reckless attitude looks on you, we need to do this the smart way. If worse comes to worse, we’ll talk about the strangling.

Tucker realizing she’s a lesbian doesn’t fit his agenda. It goes beyond just casual homophobia. Realizing she likes women means she’ll be interested in seeking a relationship with one and dissolving their claim, that she’ll want to find her independence, and that eventually she’ll want to separate herself from the tight, abusive grasp he’s had on her for years. I think she cares about her mother too much to confront him yet, but I think I’ve made her realize she’s not alone, and that she can take him to court for everything he owes her, which means we have to move faster with out plan.
