I am sitting on the hood of an old abandoned car, it was night and the place where I was was lit by small fires that people had made, the place was lonely, I was alone with my boyfriend Rig with whom I was talking about an anecdote of mine.

"And that's how I ended up washing my uncle's car." I had told him about my first drunk experience, he was laughing and... Damn it! I loved that laugh.

"Yes, yes, now it's funny but at that moment it was the most horrible thing that had happened to me." I said while looking at him.

"I would have liked to see all that." Rig's laugh was slowing down to his normal expression.

"It was one of the few "funny" things in my adolescence... people were very mean to me." I looked away when I said the last thing, remembering my classmates making fun of me for my weight or my tastes.

"Thanks to those people I currently have so many insecurities..." I murmured and then I looked at him, his expression would now be serious and he moved closer to me.

"Oh come on, it's better not to remember those things, now you won't see those people anymore." Rig gave me a small smile, did I already said that I love this man?

I was quiet for a few seconds while looking at him.

"You know? Sometimes I feel like I don't deserve you..." I told him as he took me by the hand, we had gone from laughing to talking about something a little more serious.

"Don't say that, come here." Before I reacted, he had attached me to his body to hug me, with his hand he was in charge of caressing my hair, I could feel my cheeks burning in those moments.

"I don't want you to feel bad about things from the past, don't pay attention to that group of idiots who at some point made you feel bad." His voice sounded relaxed, next to him I felt protected and calm, something I had not felt in a long time.

"Now, so you can forget about this a bit, let's have a drink." He gave a little kiss to my forehead, I could feel that my heart would explode of love at any moment.

"O-Okay, let's go." I tried to calm down and took him by the hand, I was really deeply in love with him and now I can perfectly understand why.

Iori Yagami was one of my first loves when I was 9 years old, I remember drawing with him. 💖

Today I no longer have the drawings, but they stayed in my mind and I decided to draw myself with it one more time, basically this in a remake of an old drawing.

I did it a long time ago, but now I'm posting it on Tumblr.
