Photo Questing

Hey Everybody! I've been working on a website for my photography and it is finally ready. I'm still in the process of adding images here and there and I'll be adding more products and purchase options (I have a Store! oh my gosh!) and blog posts and other content pretty frequently because having a website is like having a super-motivating extra job that is extremely fun and is not-at-all-financially-rewarding which are my favorite kinds of jobs, it seems. Thank you to everyone who helped me work on this surprisingly difficult little thing and extra thanks to those of you who went with me on all of my photo-adventures even when they went awry and to those of you who made all of these weird and wonderful things happen. Life is just a series of moments we would prefer not to remember, said the cat. She clung to the wall of the tub in the same way that she clung to her very important cat pride. She knew, however, that the worst was nearly done, and that relief would come soon, as a warm towel and a small dark place to hide.

Bloodhounds are not fun to wash because there are a lot of hidden places to clean and that's kinda yucky, but they are pretty cool animals otherwise. Intelligent and mellow but also a bit intense? All of my stories are about dogs these days.

This bird lives where I work and tonight as I took off my apron he wolf-whistled at me. I have never heard this bird wolf-whistle before but as it turns out, not only can he wolf-whistle but he also has a human-like understanding of when it is appropriate (or inappropriate?) to use a wolf-whistle. #HappyValentinesDayToMe

Did you know that when a polar bear, driven south in search of food, encounters a grizzly bear, they often fight, maybe to the death, who knows, but eeeevery so often they just have a baby together instead? The resulting offspring is called a Grolar Bear. Or a Pizzly. Or a Polizzly. Scientists cannot agree. #coloredpencil #bear #polarbear

I feel weird drawing animals that I haven't actually seen in real life so it's a good thing I saw that bear running away from the pig pen last summer because bears sure are a fun-to-draw shape.

One of these days I'm gonna take three to four Five Hour Energy shots and finally open an Etsy shop where I will sell sketches and photographs and maybe pot-holders that I knit out of dog hair because the materials would be free because I could ethically steal discarded dog hair from my day job. #ThatLastThingIsAJokeUnlessYouGuysThinkThatWouldSell #moose #coloredpencil

When I was four I wanted to be a farmer until I learned about how early they have to get up, but now I'm a photographer and I keep learning that we really ought to get up early too. Also I want to be a farmer again. #MakeUpYourMindAlready

These bangs belong to Willa who is wonderful. I hope that when I am old my hair looks like Willa's does. Maybe I'd look like a witch...That could be pretty cool, I think.
