Terrible First Meeting Starters
For breaking the ice in the worst possible way, featuring themes including: kidnapping, murder, stalking, injury, monsters, and just general meanness. [Brackets] indicate spaces to include your own words to personalize your ask!
“Wh-who are you? Where are we? Why are we tied up together?!” “You almost killed me, so no, it’s not nice to meet you.” “Oh my god, are you okay? Should I call an ambulance?” “I wondered when you were going to wake up. You almost didn’t survive.” “Get out of my way before I move you myself.” “Please, let me out of here!” “You’re staring like you’ve never seen a [monster/vampire/demon/etc] before.” “Hey. Pretend you were waiting for me. You’re being followed.” “You don’t know me, but something terrible is going to happen.” “You’re in the wrong place at the wrong time.” “Please, someone help!” “You shouldn’t be out here all by yourself this late at night.” “Stop shining that flashlight on me! I’m not a damn ghost!” “I’m sorry if I hurt you.” “Shh, don’t scream! I’m not trying to attack you!” “I’ve never seen anything like you before.” “Stand right there and don’t get any closer!” “Now that you’ve seen this, I can’t let you leave and just tell anyone.” “Ugh, my head. What happened to us?” “Is there a reason you’ve been following me for an hour?” “If you come near me, I will scream at the top of my lungs.” “Holy shit. What have you done?!” “Is that blood? Is that YOUR blood?” “Don’t panic, I can explain!” “I promise you, this isn’t what it looks like.” “I won’t hurt you if you just keep your mouth shut.” “Who are you? Where are you taking me?!” “This is for your own safety. I’ll explain later.” “What the hell was that thing back there?!” “There’s something wrong with me. I need your help!” “Please, someone, there’s been an emergency!” “You can’t leave. You’re a witness and now you’ve involved.” “I’m being hunted, and now they’ve seen you too.” “If you believe in any god, I suggest praying to them now.” “Shh! Hide here, and don’t move a muscle.” “Can I walk with you? I think I’m being followed.” “I’m so sorry. I don’t like tricking people, but I had to lure you here.” “Fuck off, this is private property!” “I’ve seen some weird shit, but you’re something else.” “Oh my god. Are you a [monster/demon/angel/etc]?” “Don’t look at me like that, with those eyes.” “That isn’t your blood. What did you do?” “I promise not to tell anyone, just let me go!” “Come with me. I want to show you something.” “You’re not going to eat me, are you?” “You should never have approached me. You don’t know who you’re dealing with.” “Go away, I’m not looking for a conversation.” “You don’t just follow people to their homes! I’m calling the police.” “Please, I’ll do anything, just untie me!” “I’m sorry if I scared you.” “I had to tie you up. You didn’t leave me any other choice.” “I don’t even know you. What do you mean, I ‘have’ to go with you?” “We almost died back there. Maybe we should introduce ourselves.” “Let go of me!” “I’m hurt. Please, I need you to call an ambulance for me.” “You have to come with me, something bad is about to happen!” “I’m not leaving until you tell me why you’ve been following me!” “Seeing as we may not survive, I should tell you my name. It’s [name].”
“I wish it could always be like this.”
“You’re always there for me.”
“The stars are the only thing that makes sense.”
“There’s more out there, you just have to be patient.”
“It doesn’t all have to be existential dread.”
“You’re so much different when we’re alone.”
“I like it when the worlds quiet.”
“There’s a place for us somewhere.”
“They’ll name constellations after you one day.”
“Your hearts beating so fast.”
“They don’t know what they want.”
“You don’t know what you want.”
“That’s what they’re supposed to say.”
“We really don’t know what we’re doing.”
“I miss the old you.”
“Nostalgias a trap.”
“Aliens are out there.”
“Did you hear that?”
“I really want pizza right now, think it’s open?”
“What time is it?”
“But why would they abduct cows?”
“We’ll all be dead soon enough anyways.”
“I wish we didn’t have to sleep.”
“What do you believe in?”
“What happens after we die?”
“Seems like a silly thing to say, don’t you think?”
“And what’s your excuse?”
“You’ll get it together soon.”
“Sometimes I feel like I’ll never have it together.”
“It’d be better if people weren’t so afraid of their feelings.”
“You keep quiet and we both lose.”
“I wish I could save this forever.”
“When did you realize you were in love with me?”
“The rooms spinning.”
“I loved you long before you knew.”
“I’m not afraid of death, I think it’ll be peaceful.”
“The Universe is too big for that.”
“Do you think we’ve met in other lives?”
“I’d come back to haunt you.”
“Would you come back to haunt me?”
“What’s alternate universe you doing right now?”
“Tell me a secret.”
“Why haven’t you told anyone?”
“I wish we knew each other sooner.”
“You’re a game changer.”
“I’m a game changer.”
“Don’t ignore fate.”
“Ignorance isn’t bliss.”
“What, is that a conspiracy theory?”
“It’s probably the Illuminati anyways.”

“That’s not what our English teacher said,” Jughead retorted with a smirk.
Morgan smiled, before continuing to cook. She loved at least being able to help somehow. After about fifteen minutes, she placed three plates on the table. She put plastic bowls and cutlery to the side for the gang, before moving to sit down. “It’s ready!” She called and smiled.
Jughead snorted and sat at the table.
They ain’t in silence. Morgan was used to cooking for men so she didn’t mind. When they were done, she managed to wander outside. The Serpents were Doing what they did. She leaned against the trailer, looking up at the clear summer sky.
Once he was done, Jughead placed everyone’s dishes in the sink and followed Morgan out of the trailer. “Hey are you okay?”

Jughead smiled again before kissing her cheek. “I’m gonna stick my cast out of the curtain while I wash myself, Okay? Also turn around so you don’t see my…you know what…” He timidly started pulling the shower curtain closed.
Morgan couldn’t help but giggle. “You just sounded like you’re a fifth grader who hit puberty.” She said with a laugh, before moving to get up and exit the room. She needed to cook dinner anyway. Both men only lived off of Pops here. “I’ll go cook dinner.”
“Okay. I’ll scream if I need you,” Jughead half joked as he started to wash himself.
She smiled and nodded. She pushed her bag out of the way, not noticing the necklace falling out and went into the kitchen to start cooking. She figured she’d make spaghetti. It was always their favorite. She sighed, rubbing a hand over her face and trying to keep herself sane. “I’m hopeless.” She whispered, sighing.
After about ten minutes, Jughead trudged out of the shower and did his best to dry himself with his towel. He messily dried his hair after putting on some clothes and decided to just pull on his beanie and leave his hair uncombed.
Morgan hummed softly to herself, working on their dinner. She watched the snow fall outside, signaling Christmas was rolling around. She smiled and continued to cook, waiting for Jughead to make his appearance.
Jughead tiptoed down the stairs and smiled when he smelt what Morgan was cooking. He tiptoed over to her and gently placed his head on her shoulder. “Whatcha cooking?”
She felt his presence and giggled, stirring the pot. “Spaghetti. Least I could do for you and your dad letting me crash until this is all resolved.” She said softly, reaching over for a kiss.
Jughead smiled and kissed her gently. “That’s sweet.”
She shrugged. “I’m a fugitive. Someone’s gotta take care of me.” She joked and smiled, pulling away from the kiss. “Now wait so I don’t burn this.”
“Fine, fine.” Jughead backed up slightly so she could finish cooking the food.

Morgan was a bit taken aback, before giggling and blushing. She chuckled and helped Jughead in the car, before sliding in beside him and closing the door. It wouldn’t be long before they would be back at his place. “I tried to clean up. I’ve been cooking too.” She said and smiled.
“You have?” Jughead asked as he turned to look at her. “That’s good.” He leaned towards her to kiss her lips again, having missed he feeling.
“I’m guessing your dad likes my cooking so.” She said with a grin, kissing him back softly. She knew FP probably didn’t want to see any of that. After a moment or two, she blushed and pulled away.
Jughead completely forgot about FP being in the car, so he furrowed his brows at her.
Morgan smiled, settling beside him and putting her head on his shoulder.

“Hope it’s to your liking.” She said as they walked into the trailer and to Jughead’s room. “The Serpents want to give you a welcome home party.” She added, letting him settle in as she watched him.
Jughead looked at her as he sat down and started to try to pull his shirt off. “A party?”
She chuckled. “Yeah. They have their hero back.” She said softly, moving to try and help him with the cast. “They like to party you know.” She added and smiled.
Jughead looked at Morgan and bit his lip a bit. “I know. But I don’t. And I need help taking a shower.”
Morgan’s face flushed red and she bit her lip, looking down at the floor. “I mean. I can try and help….” She said, looking up at him. Most girls would jump at this. Most girls. She wasn’t one of them.
“Maybe…you can help me wash my hair? And then I can try and do the rest?” Jughead suggested as he stood up. He knew she probably didn’t want to see his nude body like most girls. But he also knew he couldn’t wash his body all by himself.
She swallowed thickly and nodded. “I can at least help with that.” She said softly. She was so stupid. She couldn’t even look at her own boyfriend without fearing the worst. What was she going to do when he did want to take it to the next level? She knew he wasn’t them. He wouldn’t hurt her. But that didn’t make it easier. She was hopeless. She stood up and helped him to the bathroom, trying to keep her composure.
Jughead watched her carefully. “If I wore a swim suit while you washed my hair, would that make you feel any better? Because I’ll do that if you want me to.”
“That’d be stupid. I’ll manage.” She said softly, taking a deep breath. She could do this. She knew she could.
Jughead nodded slightly and kept his eyes on her as he got in the tub.
She took a few breaths and moved over to help him, kneeling by the tub and smiling softly at him as she helped wash his hair.
Jughead smiled warmly at the sort of massage on his head. “Thanks Morgan,” he said after a few minutes.
