Last week I attended a business conference to build my business. Today, I'm attending a Prayer Summit to build, refresh and replenish my spirit. I need this time with the Lord! Last night I had the pleasure of speaking at an event and the challenge of one attendee spoke volumes for so many. As Christians we believe that God has given us an idea and we are initially excited until we have to figure out how to implement it. At that point we become like hamsters on a wheel, exerting energy but going no where. If God gave you the idea seek Him for the strategies. Attending Lamar Tyler's Traffic Sales & Profit conference and so many great nuggets have been shared. However this one was a wakeup call for everyone in the room. Speaker Amber Wright stated " How selfish of you not to share the gift God gave you with the world. Don't you realize that your gift is the answer to someone's problem?" Last night was the first meeting for our small group, Uncovering the Power of Prayer. I have the pleasure of co-hosting this group with the awesome Dee G. We have a great group of ladies who are ready to take their prayer life to the next level. And, I'm excited to see how God will move in this group and in each of our lives. We are using the book the Battle Plan for Prayer. This an EXCELLENT book and resource for learning how to pray effective, strategic prayers. We are looking forward to answered prayers.
