At the end of Act 1 of “Worthy”, before leaving the Emerald Grove, Nim gifts Rolan a ring that allows casting the dimensional door spell. Having developed a close friendship with Lia, Nim wants all three tieflings to have a means of escape if they get attacked on their way to Baldur’s Gate. In turn, Rolan gives her his book, the “Weave of Life” - the tome on the weave that he has used for years to study magic.

However, what’s important - the book contains his handwritten notes: explanations of casting techniques, insights into what works for him, and his experiments with unique spells (which he has developed successfully, if you didn’t know :3) Nim finds herself thoroughly entertained by his dry wit, of course xD

As for the photo itself, the scene takes place sometime between acts 2 and 3, when Nim is finally down bad for him, so reading what he wrote helps her “visualize” his voice in her memory, and she gets off to that.

Now, to the questions:

1. What’s an idea, dynamic, or trope in your current work that feels naughty or self-indulgent? (Spicy answers 100% encouraged.)

Well, after 2 years of writing “Worthy”, I am finally approaching the point where Nim and Rolan would, inevitably, fuck.👍So the next chapter will lead to the event and is full of tension. And also, they are both scared to show their cards first, so it’s a lot about “roundabouting” around the subject.

Their first time tho? It will be so good. I’ve been pondering it for so long, I have every move calculated.

And then? They will indulge in the debauchery until the final battle comes x) They sorta loose all their worries during sex, as these are moments when they are the most honest with each other. They feel each other’s love (although they can’t even say the word yet. Yeah, it’s that bad for them 🫠) and feel there’s still hope that, in the end, it will all work out, they will win and survive. Will they? Who knows 🙃

2. Is your oc a virgin, blushing maiden, or sexual fiend? or aro/ace? or something in between?

Nim is not a virgin, and she was, at one point, even convinced that she was in love. However, she was badly hurt by that man's actions. Long story short: the guy had a family, stole her money, and called her unlovable. Since then, Nim got very jaded when it comes to love and would have random one-night stands to satisfy her needs. As a bounty hunter, she’d also take sex as payment instead of money if she found a person appealing.

That’s also why she’s so hesitant about starting any sort of relationship with Rolan, as she’s scared he would break her heart. And Rolan’s poor communication skills in sharing his feelings with her also don’t help. Girl, it’s a fucking circus of a relationship. 🙃

3. What’s your OC’s “I shouldn’t be this turned on by this” trigger?

Manhandling. The idea of someone besting and topping her in battle is, of course, unacceptable to Nim. Someone doing so in bed? Not that much. 😉 To Nimriel, someone being so into her that they bite her, slap her ass, hold her tight, and top her is very appealing. More on that in this smut.

7. Do you have any crazy projects for the future?

Nothing too crazy for now. As I said, I'm preparing for Nim and Rolan’s first time xD. But after, there are 2 more smuts with them I want to write.

One is veeeery sensual and explores Nimriel’s character further, showing Rolan just how often she puts on the mask of “I’m such a happy, sociable person” in front of others. And, in reality, she has been lonely for so many years, which has made her develop some pretty dangerous behaviors.

The other one is shortly after they start dating, and they discuss what they like in bed. As a result, Nim teaches Rolan to dirty talk. 💀 Even the idea of it all makes me fucking wheeze 😂

She usually shows herself as a beautiful woman, but her back is like a hollow old tree-trunk. Or she has a tail, usually a cow or fox tail. (I like both so I gave her both in my drawing.)

The most common tales about her is about how she'll approach men to seduce them. She'll charm them, laughing and dancing around their campfire, beckoning them to follow - but always careful not to show her tail or hollow back. It's very dangerous to fall for the temptation, because if she likes him enough she might decide to keep him. She will put him under her spell so that he will always be compelled to go to her whenever she calls. Many, consumed by longing for her, end up vanishing into the forest forever.

But she is not only a seductress. Many stories tell of her guiding lost people, especially women and children, out of the woods or helping them in some way. Like helping shepherds by guiding and protecting their sheep and cattle and bringing back lost animals.

If you help her in some way and show due respect toward her and her forest (or, you know, sleep with her) she might reward you.

She can enchant your bow/rifle so that it never misses its mark. Or bring wild animals before you during hunts. Maybe give your axe the strength to fell entire trees with a single strike, or make it so your campfire will always burn no matter how damp the wood or how bad the rain and storm.

If you anger her she'll do the opposite: curse your rifle so it always misses, hide all wild game from your sight, or confuse your mind so you can never find your way home.

To protect oneself, most important is of course to never give her your real name. If you suspect you've drawn her ire you can also put your clothes on inside-out, as a form of counterspell. Like many others of her kind she is sensitive to iron, so iron pieces in your clothes or on your body keeps her at arms length. In fact, one frequent favour she might ask is help to cross railroads, since she can't walk over the iron rails without human help.
