how i would have written the harry potter series:

(jk was too much of a coward but im not)

- harry would be bisexual and half middle eastern from his dad's side

- hermione would be black

- slytherin wouldn't be condemned as the "evil" house & hufflepuff and ravenclaw wouldnt be the irrelevant houses

- fred, george and percy weasley would be in slytherin

- dean and seamus, parvati and lavender, ginny and luna would be canon in the end of the series

- also hermione would be dating fred and ron would be dating padma

( fred wouldn't have died because i don't want him to period )

- snape wouldn't have a "redemption arc", while draco would have one plus character development by helping the golden trio in the end and facing his family

- there'd also be more focus on regulus black's story and how he was a hero in the end, somewhat parallel to draco's arc and he'd be acknowledged as the true slytherin hero

- platonic scenes of harry and ginny

- more scenes with remus and harry

- also luna would be a trans girl (we don't fuck with terfs in this household joanne)

- there would be strong friendships between the female characters, none of joanne's internalized misogyny

- harry would name his second son cedric rubeus potter bc we don't appreciate abusers <33 ( oh and neville would be the godfather )
