Also, I only have 27 shots left to clean, which means I'm inking about 9 shots a week.

Lined BGs: March 15 Flats: April 6 Final Paint: April 13

Shine has been doing a great job working on painting the bgs, and I've started lining a few more bgs. Hopefully I'm matching the previous style well enough.

Got a decent amount of "clean-betweens" done in the past week or so. Looking forward to getting these colored!

With a few hiccups, everything is going as smoothly as it can, especially for a film this long ;0;

Spring, Week 2 Check-In It's week 2! I'm officially halfway done with keys and have about 28 shots left to key. My plan is to have keys done by the end of week 6. Doing the math, that puts me at about 5-6 shots per week, which is definitely doable. I'm working with a background artist, and I'll be reaching out to a second background painter to lighten the load a little. I will be re-recording voice lines and sending them to my sound designer. Total Hours: 130

Also, I have my first background test! I'm hoping to get a full "vertical slice" of this shot done before break, but because of voice recording and scheduling issues, it might have to wait depending on when I get the lines done.

The shot has been inked and colored! I'm hoping to put some fun lighting effects on it in after effects once I get the backgrounds.

So this weekend was focused mostly on setting up shot lists and starting keys! Speaking of shots, I'm currently at 76 total shots including the ones where there's little to no animation. The total number of actual animation shots is 62, so also not great. The good news it, I have 3 shots keyed already and one inbetweened. After doing a little forbidden math, I figured that I have to key about 8 shots a week to get all of them done by the end of the semester. This was my original plan, but I've incorporated 2 weeks at the beginning of Spring to take care of keys just in case. It took about an hour and a half to key and inbetween one easy shot, and then 2 hours to key (multiple passes) one medium easy shot.

She's alive!! Finally did an animation test for Marnie, it's still rough but i think I want to save cleanup for later. For now, back to keying!

I made some minor changes since animatic night so i didn't have time to fix scratch sound, hopefully it still reads okay?
