I chose to reblog about the map of Monkey Face because it’s near my chosen space but also because the map is very informative. This map could get me to Monkey Face if I’ve never been there and I like that. It’s a very clear map that shows trails, extracurricular activities that are around, and restrooms. Knowing where the restrooms are is a very positive thing to know especially on a hike. I like how there are dotted line, solid lines, and different color-coded lines to stand for different things. It’s a very insightful map that seems beneficial while going to Monkey Face or even the Bear Hole!

 The map that I drew up for my chosen space has many things going on at once and I believe that everything I included in that drawing is important or at least good to know. I added individual trails that are there in upper Bidwell along with showing you where the bear hole is because it gives you a sense of what is around or near the space. I included parking areas for people’s vehicles so they know where to go and I included the beautiful pond that’s there as well. There’s also a golf course there so if you don’t want to go on a hike or to bear hole, you can go golf. (:  

I chose Monkeyface Sounds and Lassen’s Voice because they connect perfectly to my space the Bear Hole. They connect perfectly because they are all located in Bidwell, they are all outdoors, and they all show the different sides to Nature’s Beauty. The great description of the sounds in these two spaces gives me an idea of how it would be like if I was there while I was reading them. The peacefulness in both these spaces gives people a good reason to want to visit these spaces and soak in its natural beauty. The sceneries are two very wonderful great places to just escape the world to stop and breathe so you can collect yourself and think especially since they are quite and peaceful it makes it a whole lot easier to do that. While one sits there to soak up the quietness and explore ones mind, you can hear the wind hitting the trees, bushes, grass, or even yourself. One can just explore to out most regions of one’s own mind set to just let all these sounds in so you can get to the fullest point of relaxation and bliss possible. These places are just beautiful to the human eye and ears, I love visiting just so I can stop and think.  

This is another photo taken at the Bear Hole here is sunny California! (: While walking to the heart of the Bear Hole I looked to my right and saw this little creek flowing so beautifully and breath taking. I stopped there and sat on a rock to admire this scenery of nature. I focused my eyes on this little creek that didn’t seem disturbed in any way shape or form but I focused my ears on my surroundings. I would hear people walking by, dogs barking, birds chirping, the sound of the water in the creek, and the small wind between branches. After sitting there for a good while I decided to close my eyes and focus all of my attention on my ears listening to everything around me. While I listened closer to everything, I actually heard different conversations people were having, dogs from far away, I could guess the rapid speed of the water from listening to it more intensively, I could hear the water brushing against the rocks and land, the wind hitting the branches was clearer and louder, I was also very surprised by the sound of my own breathing. Listening to everything with my eyes closed and just focusing all my attention on my ears was a fascinating experience and changed my view on this beautiful piece of nature. My favorite thing about going today to do this was that I was able to get away from everything and everyone and I was able to actually think peacefully with no interruptions because I went alone. So if anyone wants to experience such an amazing blissful walk of their own so they can get lost in their thoughts than you should visit the Bear Hole. (:

People can visit this space a walk on top of it and clearly take photos of it. People would be taking up space in this space when they go and visit. We also leave our footprints on this space, which clearly stands for our existence in this space.

This space also brings out the contrast of life and encompasses the neutrality of diverse perspectives on this space. Everyone and anyone can look at this space and soak in its natural beauty. This space is in the season of fall and it only looks like this in fall so this space changes its appearance as well. It’ll look different in spring, summer, and winter. Just like people change clothes this spaces changes appearances. These are all the reasons I chose to re-blog this photo.
