'Balloon Boy, Joy' I took this photo in April 2016 of a young boy I met at my Grandmother's home in Haiti. He was shy and introverted at first glance. Until, of course, he was given this random balloon. His demeanor transformed as if he had just became alive. His face illuminated with joy as he pranced around the yard with his new prized possession. This candid moment of bliss is a reminder to find joy in the simple beauties life presents us everyday. Even if it's simply, a balloon.
