this is an incredible misinterpretation of the source link. He’s an archetype and a stock character - “these heroes are not necessarily congruous, their concepts are related and in some instances interchangeable” - in other words, this isn’t “all these characters are the same person”, this is “these characters are all the same kind of person.” Stock characters are used so the audience immediately knows what the character is like without needing to spend time establishing them, not to imply that they’re all the same person. Saying that they’re the same person is like saying that Cumberbatch’s Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Strange are the same people because they’re both arrogant intellectuals and because they have the same actor.
