Last year I was kindly invited by a researcher from Paris to accompany her on a research trip to Vanuatu. The study focused on the impact of Climate Change in the region and women's role in adaptation within the community. The idea came about to create an awareness campaign from the documentation taken on various islands. This campaign will be in the form of a photography exhibition in Paris in the coming months (which we have received funding for), supported by a photo book. I have just finished the design of the book and have sent it off for a proof/sample copy. Once I have that in my hands I will be launching a crowdfunding campaign to raise the remaining funds needed to print the book. Here is a front cover sneak peak. Currently in Vanuatu documenting the effects of climate change with a lovely researcher from Paris. Made the mission up the west coast of Santo, where no tourists venture, to arrive at a village called Wusi. The community welcomed us through their Chief and showed us through their dying gardens, due to an extended drought period. They're left to live solely on rice, though nothing stops them from having a smile on their face and being ridiculously photogenic. I constantly get to meet so many amazing people.
