Capacity and Disaster Management Assessment
The barangay officials are the key to prevent these types of disasters and calamities, they introduced and educated the community with different community plans like first aid training, preparation of different equipment. proactiveness, and on how to segregate wastes, regular reminders, plan of evacuation, and preparing on hand emergency kits. They also alarm the people with a loud siren when there is a sign of flood in the area, Â a boat is prepared as well for immediate rescue.

Vulnerability, Elements, and People at Risk Assessment
Some houses were built near the stream so floods are frequent there and they can always inhale the bad odor of it. there was also no proper waste management. The people that live in those houses are mostly informal settlers residing near our village, were affected by it, but mostly them. typhoons and floods can destroy property and take lives of different living life forms in our society. Our own houses are one of the safest places to go during these types of calamities. Mostly, the challenges are the people living in the area that are not cooperating with the projects and plans that are introduced by the barangay officials to them.
Hazard Identification
I live in Moonwalk, Paranaque. Our village is surrounded by a creek. Due to our mismanaged waste disposal, we have experienced a lot of flooding throughout the year. Also even if there’s no flood you can distinctly smell the bad odor of the stream, where it can cause health problems. When we hear news about an upcoming typhoon or a strong rainfall the barangay officials will take action and prepare the things/pieces of equipment that are used for rescuing and alarming its people.
