Created these flour sack actions as part of the set of basic practice movements in animation.

This is a practice animation I did of a plastic bag, the assignment was to make a leaf or feather so I tried to do something as light but with different volume.

Some of the basic exercises in animation, done in my Character Animation class.

This is a logo I designed for the “Umma Made” clothing line! The characters are Korean for mother (umma) I wanted to give it a painted calligraphy line-weight, and a font with a similar stroke look. Currently in progress, this is the first draft.

Practice

I made a logo for an up and coming edible company called the “Stony Pony” and here is a jpeg, process gif of the work, and an almost finished png with transparency.

It took me days to set up, and I mean days, but I finally got all my drivers going for my new tablet, and I am so in love with my lil drawin screen

This is an After Effects puppet designed in Photoshop to perform in Character Animator, based off Lana Del Rey. 

This is a traditional animation I made in my Moving Image Lab class. The assignment was to create a 40 frame animation, which would be brought in and edited with After Effects. I call this character Kid Wizard, hope you like his trick!

I find something absolutely beautiful about these intricate color animations. They don’t have the same dynamism as my older work, but I’m really enjoying working in this graphic style. 

I’ve been working on an idea that’s stuck in my head, it’s a surreal animated self portrait.  The idea is to incorporate, gems, flora, fauna, and myself as statuary. Stay tuned for further failed attempts

A couple designs for a toy, my design was originally a “Genie in a Box” designed after a Jack in the Box, later changed to being an ornate jewelry box where a Fairy lives.
