On Sunday May 22nd 3pm EST we are going to try to trend “SUPERGIRL NEEDS CAT” on Twitter. We want to send the CW a message that Cat Grant is important to the show and to us! This is our only chance.

Busy during that time? You can easily schedule tweets ahead of time using tweetdeck.com or futuretweets.com (we have a guide). Use timezoneconverter.com to check your timezone. We also have a countdown clock to help you figure out the time.

For those of you with AM times, the trend is technically on Monday, May 23rd.

Don’t know what to tweet? Tag @thecw in your tweets with the phrase “SUPERGIRL NEEDS CAT” (no hashtag, just the words, no swearing either cause Twitter doesn’t count those towards trends) and tell them what Cat means to you, add gifs/pictures. (If you run out of things to say, just write anything but don’t tag the cw in those random tweets. Whatever you do, don’t stop tweeting.

Want to help even more? Please spread the word on twitter/tumblr/Facebook, tell your friends, and ask them to join. Tell people who aren’t even actively in the SG fandom, who knows? Maybe they’ll help.
