Hey, thanks for thinking about me and checking up. I'm still alive, though not using tumblr much anymore. I wish I could say I'm still writing, but it's honestly taken a back-seat. I do miss the little community I had here. Maybe I'll come back one day when I've got something to say that can only be said through verse.

Anyway, thanks again for checking up. It did make me quite happy to see all the likes on my old posts. It helped me to go back and see what I'd written.

Hi, sorry for the late reply.

I think haiku are definitely my favourite poetic form. Their simple form is really attractive to aspiring writers and may encourage new people to experiment with writing. That's what it was like for me anyway. I think anything that excites people to try new things and learn an art is beautiful, even if it seems elementary.

wet your lips as you tell me

the water swims on your skin.

you dance like a flower blooms,

The spring breeze brings this petal

The choking tightness of skin

flying below the branches,

Blood drips from my hands as I

A thousand words are written

This fruit basket I give you

spin around this soft dreamscape.
