23 June 2026: Crown Prince Hussein met with leaders of pioneering organisations in advanced technology fields, during a visit to Silicon Valley, California.

22 June 2026: Crown Prince Hussein met with entrepreneurs and executives of American technology companies in Silicon Valley, California.

During a working dinner hosted by Amjad Masad, the Jordanian entrepreneur and founder and CEO of Replit, the Crown Prince highlighted the initiatives of the National Council for Future Technology, which aim to improve the efficiency of government work in the areas of public services, education, and innovation.

His Royal Highness noted that Jordan has become a regional hub for global technology companies such as Microsoft, Amazon, Oracle, and Samsung, thanks to the Jordanian talent working in the technology sector.

22 June 2026: Crown Prince Hussein visited the headquarters of Zipline, a global leader in autonomous aerial logistics technology, based in California.

During the visit, the Crown Prince was briefed on the company’s experience in designing, building, and operating the world’s largest parcel delivery network using autonomous drones.

Zipline delivers medical supplies, food, and retail goods using zero-carbon electric aircraft.

22 June 2026: Crown Prince Hussein, accompanied by Princess Rajwa, visited Replit, an AI software creation company in Silicon Valley, California.

During a conversation with Replit’s founder and CEO, Jordanian entrepreneur Amjad Masad, the Crown Prince expressed his pride in Jordanian talent, which has proven capable of competing at the global level, noting the importance of harnessing drive and determination to capitalise on available opportunities and tools to maximise impact. 

His Royal Highness praised the productive collaboration between the National Council for Future Technology and Replit, a cloud-based software development platform and AI-powered coding assistant, which has resulted in the launch of the ‘Siraj’ project, an AI-powered Arabic-language learning assistant serving 1.3 million users across some 5,800 schools.

17 June 2026: Crown Prince Hussein visited Playground Global in California, an early-stage venture capital firm that invests in technology start-ups.

The Crown Prince discussed potential cooperation and investment opportunities for the company in Jordan, highlighting the advantages of investing in the Kingdom, and the role of the National Council for Future Technology in supporting the establishment of high-tech projects.
