“I’m not hungry Joon. Just let me sleep,” you pull your arm away and quickly make your way to the bedroom. Not forgetting to pull the door shut behind you, but not slamming it of course. You may be a brat, but you’re not crazy. 

Joon stays in the kitchen for a moment, debating on what he should do. On one hand, you’ve barely been eating lately due to stress. But on the other hand, you seemed pretty tired and cranky. He decides to bring you some fruit and make another attempt at getting you to eat. 

He slowly opens the bedroom door to see you in his sweatshirt, curled up and knocked out. You looked too cute to be woken up, so be decided to leave it be. You can eat it when you wake up.

Two hours later you open your eyes and luckily the sun is still out. You were a bit worried you’d slept too long, seeing as you didn’t set an alarm. Attempting to get up, you are pulled back into a large chest belonging to your lovely boyfriend. You turn your head and see he’s still asleep. After seeing you curled up like that, Joon decided a nap wouldn’t hurt him either. He starts to wake up due to your sudden movements. 

“Good morning Princess,” he says while yawning. 

He looks so cute, but the minute he said good morning made you remember how your morning actually went. This sent you spiraling into a bad mood once again. You pout and turn back around trying to get out of his hold. 

“Woah woah woah, What’s with the attitude baby?”

“It was not a good morning,” you say as you continue wiggling around in a sad attempt to get out of his arms. 

“Why not angel? Did something happen?”

You turn back and roll your eyes, “Even if it did, you wouldn’t have known because you weren’t here.”

Namjoon looks perplexed as you rarely become this bratty with him. He thought the slight crankiness earlier would be fixed by a nap. Clearly he was wrong. 

“Baby, you know I was working on my book for the publisher’s office,” he frowns at you. Why were you so upset he was in his office?

“I know.”

“Then what’s wrong?”

“Nothing,” you sigh and finally get up. You walk out of the room, back to your desk and try to start studying again. Except this time, you feel kind of bad about being so short with Joon. There’s a lot of feelings swirling around in your body and it’s becoming hard to handle. So naturally, you drop into little space. 

Namjoon comes out of the bedroom to see you at your desk. He knows you have a class in about half an hour so he assumes you’re prepping for it. That is, until he gets closer and sees you’re actually coloring. All of your studying supplies have been put on the floor and you sit there peacefully coloring. This would have been a great thing, if it wasn’t for your class coming up. Joon knows how important attendance is, especially since your upcoming test is in this class and today is a review day. 

“Hey Princess,” Joon slowly approaches. He knows bringing you back to big space is a hard task. Especially seeing as you dropped so quickly. 

You turn around and smile, “Daddy!!” You reach up in a sign for him to carry you. Instead he just holds your hands. As much as he wants to hold you, he knows it’ll make his task harder. 

“Whatcha coloring baby?”

“Flowers!”

“Oh wow. You’re doing great! Daddy has a question though.”

You nod your head, signaling him to continue. 

“Do you think you could be big for me? Just for a bit? Your class starts soon and it’s very important…” he looks at your eyes trying to read your reaction. This could go three ways. One, you burst out into tears because you think he wants you to be big all the time. Two, you say no and continue coloring. Or three, you say yes and do your class. He’s hoping for three. 

“Mmmm baby doesn’t wanna be big,” you look deep in thought, “but if daddy says important, maybe…”

You look hesitant. Clearly it isn’t gonna be easy for you to just get out of this headspace. Joon looks at the clock. Ten minutes before your class starts. He sighs and makes a split decision in his head. 

He puts your study supplies back on the desk and motions for you to stand up. He takes your place in the chair and pulls you into his lap. 

“Baby, I need you to log into your class. Today is important, so we are gonna do it together.”

You slowly type in your credentials to your school account. Namjoon clicks the link and turns the camera off. Even though he hasn’t been in college for a few years, he is a good note taker due to his current career. Science isn’t his expertise, but he tries his best. His diagrams are messy, but you seem to be taking in some things. You giggle at some of his graphs and fix a few things here and there. He’s relieved that at least you are content in his lap and not throwing a tantrum over this. 

After what feels like forever, the class is finally over and Joon is closing your laptop. Suddenly your stomach growls and he remembers that you haven’t eaten since this morning. 

“Guess it’s time to eat that fruit huh?” he says as he kisses the top of your head. You giggle and wrap your arms around his neck. 

Safe to say, the day is ending better than it started.
