I have wanted a GoPro for absolutely ages, the thought of taking underwater pictures since seeing the Octopus in Ibiza and not being able to video it has plagued my life. The thought of videoing on the quad bike in Santorini and the cool footage we could take also made me want one desperately. Today was that day, the day that I got my GoPro! I went for the Hero4 Black, the one that video's in 4K resolution and 12mp stills. It's amazing, it's small and is like an outfit, it can be customised to hell. There's straps, sticks, mounts and loads of other little accessories and kit you can get for it which makes it easier to fit into all types of action/scenarios. It's a bit strange to get used to as it doesn't have a screen, so you don't really know what you're video or photographing. I would say it's camera for photography is alright but you use it for the video really. The quality is amazing, it's just trying to make sure it's not too shaky and the subject is right.
