Super excited about this new partnership at @jonhenrygeneral with @virginia_fresh_match_ 🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅 It took lots of paperwork and will continue to take A LOT of paperwork, along with staff training, technology updates, and plenty more. 🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍 The store is just 1 of 4 Grocery stores in VA to offer the program and I'd argue we're the smallest, too. 🥭🥭🥭🥭🥭 We just completed our trial week of it all, offering the program with very few hiccups but lots of questions. Lots of new learning everyday, especially during a pandemic. 🥦🥦🥦🥦🥦 I know it doesn't solve a lot of big problems but is a helpful step towards securing some food for folx while helping securing market space for a few local farmers. I think it is healing behavior, to look at something so broken and see the possibility and wholeness in it. @adriennemareebrown 👨‍💻 Spent the night working to code up a website for @jonhenrygeneral. Lots of learning in the process and stumbling blocks. Will have to see about final results. Hopefully will be able to get a basic grocery order form up sometime soon. 🤷‍♂️ It's been inspiring to hear folks calls into the store for the groceries and essentials.
