18 years ago you could find me blasting this mans music throughout the house while I pretended to put on a Garth Brooks concert. My mom promised me if he ever came back to D.C. she would take me to see him. Then, he went on a hiatus to raise his children. Last night I was able to take my mom, the person who I know loves Garth as much as I do, to his concert. We sat there for 2.5 hours singing along the same way we did when I was 5. It was hands down the best concert I've ever been to because of how talented that man is and how special those songs are to me and my mom.
