( im terrible at designwork but here we are. my emma frost redesign in all of its nonsensical high class riches & bitches glory. im not really sure about the colour scheme except i know i want it to be white & gold so maybe some suggestions. what do yall think???

Behold the utterly badass awesomeness that is Laura Vaughn dressed in extraordinary cosplay as Imperator Furiosa from Mad Max: Fury Road, complete with a perfect replica of Furiosa’s prosthetic arm, so shiny and chrome.

Vaughn started cosplaying as Furiosa shortly after Fury Road came out, but it wasn’t until designer Michelle Sleeper of Overworld Designs contacted her that she realized her already impressively accurate cosplay could reach the next level.

A few weeks ago, designer Michelle Sleeper was looking to start one of her “holy grail” projects: “a T-800 Endo Arm, as an actual prosthetic for an amputee,” she writes in a Replica Props Forum thread. But while talking with a friend about who would be perfect for the arm, Sleeper was introduced to Vaughn, and though Vaughn was enthusiastic about the Endo Arm, Sleeper says, the gears quickly shifted to Furiosa, the perfect match of opportunity and passion.

Sleeper began by taking a 3D scan of Vaughn using an Xbox Kinect and creating a plaster mold of her limb. Then she used a 3D printer to create all the prosthetic arm components, which she painstakingly shaped, painted, and weathered to make sure it looked exactly like it came from a post-apocalyptic desert wasteland.

Our electricity has been disconnected. We need help! 

Hi y’all. My partner and I, two trans people of color, have lived in a house that has allowed us to provide shelter for LGBT youth of color for the last three years. We’ve taken folks in who have needed somewhere safe to stay repeatedly. Even now, we’re providing shelter to two queer youth of color and a trans black woman.

Both my partner and I have been fortunate to be employed and (somewhat) healthy, but recently events have taken a down-swing. Mounting medical bills and other personal bills from maintaining the safe space have swept us under our normal monetary level.

We’re asking for your help. In whatever form it is.

In order to turn our electricity back on, we need to pay $632.65 (six hundred thirty two dollars and sixty five cents).

We don’t make enough to be able to pull this amount up. 

The full bill totals at $1008.54 (one thousand eight dollars and fifty four cents).

Fantastic Four 511 - The First Family of Marvel meet God

In case some of you missed my incessant postings, Matt Chapman (Homestarrunner.com, Gravity Falls, The Aquabats! Super Show! Disney’s Two More Eggs) and I (Mickey Mouse Shorts, Samurai Jack, Star Wars Clone Wars, Motorcity, Batman Brave & the Bold, Plastic Man, TMNT) launched a webcomic called COSMICSCOUNDRELS.COM almost 2 years ago. We’ve over 80 pages of content on there (some hidden)! 

There’s a few ways to read it: we have the main story (that exists on the page), then we have the runners at the bottom of each page that provides another joke, perspective, or in some case, when clicking on the text in RED, prompts a whole other page! It’s fun, funny and most importantly, FREE. If you *want* to support us, here are a few options:
