Be careful what you wish for, especially if it's to be an animal known well for being a holiday delicacy!

Is it worse for one to make purposely bad art so as to feel immune from ridicule, or for one to just be unabashedly and accidentally awful at it?

I can't say I've ever made such a neglectful mistake, as I typically look at labels before I drink things. HOWEVER I have certainly taken a big ol' swig of milk and realized it had gone BAD and then turned into a cowman.

Fun fact: I first started making these comics to post in Explosm's old Cyanide & Happiness fanart thread on their forums (now defunct, unfortunately). So yeah, this was a nice little salute to how crappy some of these fan drawings could be (mine absolutely included). I miss those forums!!

Things can easily go awry when you have little to no artistic ability yet try to shoehorn elements such as anatomy, lighting, shadow, etc. into your creations.

I still don't totally know what the term "cat burglar" means. This comic was born as a way to reconcile with that lack of knowledge.
