Imagination is The Only Reality

Naps are one of the most powerful underrated tools for consciousness work. If you’ve ever struggled to shift, enter the Void, or astral project at night ,naps might be exactly what your system needs. Here's how to make them work for you.

Before you nap:

1. Keep a soft light on if you can tolerate it. Full darkness may send you into too deep of a sleep phase. Light helps you stay closer to conscious awareness.

2. Drink a little water before your nap. This helps lightly activate your system, and might cause a natural micro-awakening (which you want).

3. Set the intention for micro-awakenings.

A simple sentence like:

"I will gently wake up a few times during this nap without stress, and I'll use those moments wisely."

No pressure, no obsession. Just a gentle mental imprint.

4. Optimal nap time: 20 minutes minimum, 30–90 minutes is often ideal.

Longer naps tend to produce more REM, which means more micro-awakenings and chances for altered states at the end of the nap.

WHY NAPS WORK SO WELL:

You have more frequent micro-awakenings during naps than during full-night sleep cycles.

Why is that helpful?

Because micro-awakenings are literal gateways into:

Astral projection (OBE)

The Void state

Shifting into your Desired Reality

They are moments where you're partially disconnected from your body, but not fully lost in unconsciousness, perfect for transitions.

WHAT TO LISTEN TO (Optional):

Only use sound if you're used to it or if silence feels too intense. Some helpful audio options:

Delta Waves (1–4 Hz) → Best for Void / OBE access.

Theta Waves (4–7 Hz) → For shifting & deep subconscious connection

Soft ambient tracks that remind you of your DR

For exemple these kind of video

Silence → totally valid and often better for Void or advanced states

Avoid anything too stimulating or complex (like busy subliminals). A nap should feel like a dream, not a task.

WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU WAKE UP MID-NAP:

If you wake up for a second or two,don’t move. That’s a micro-awakening. This is your golden opportunity.

Now choose your pathway:

To astral project (OBE):

Imagine you're rolling, floating, standing, or "falling out" of your body You can also do Michael Raduga's techniques from the phase, it's very effective. .

Feel your non-physical body move while your real one stays still.

Think: “I’m separating now.”

To shift:

Affirm softly in your mind: “I’m already there” or “This is my DR now.”

Visualize a mirror, door, bed, or scene from your DR.

Let the feeling sink in, don’t force anything. If you're not here In 1 to 2 minutes go back to sleep and try again at the next micro awakening

To enter the Void:

Imagine sinking into total darkness.

Repeat words like “Void,” “Let go,” or “I surrender.” Really simple affirmations

Focus on silence, emptiness, and your own presence.

Don’t try to do all three. Pick one and keep your focus gentle.

Note : It's easier to shift and enter the void via astral projection so you can make that your objective and then shift/enter the void from there.

I lied. Maturing is realizing when it's nighttime/time to shift, get off Tumblr and put on a subliminal, sound, meditation or leave it altogether, then meditate into shifting/void.

There's nothing more to learn, you scrolled to the very end. You know everything you need to get to your Dr, now get the hell out of here and apply what you know. 💜

No don't say "but I don't know how" you KNOW how. Do whatever feels right if u really don't know anything. You didn't shift because you didn't do sh!t. Not that u failed anything.

HI SHIFTBLR! I'm back with a big post.

So, I've been on tiktok lately and i've been seeing a lot a lot a LOT of people talking about how to awake shift and it really inspired me to speak on my experience because i don't really see that many people share their awake shifting experiences in detail.

Just for context, I use my own method to awake shift. It's fairly easy. All it takes is patience and some free time, that's all.

There's this girl on tiktok named Kas who PERFECTLY encapsulated my METHOD in a video but in way better words. She defined shifting as DISCONNECTION, IDENTIFICATION, AND RECONNECTION! That is exactly it! Most people get stuck on Disconnection and give up. I often get really bored before this part but trust me that's just your ego trying to stop you! Don't ever listen! You could live your dream life rn babes why would you quit?!?

So, THIS IS HOW IT FEELS TO SHIFT WHILE AWAKE:

I meditate by breathing in like 2-5 times, sometimes i do it for longer but i find that if i do it for too long, i end up falling asleep. This step is important but it shouldn't be overdone because your body isn't even needed to shift.

i immediately start on DISCONNECTION. I tell myself "I am disconnected from my current reality. I am not this body / vessel" until i start to feel a little floaty.

After feeling floaty, i'm still feeling connected to my CR but i kinda ignore it and just skip straight to connecting to my DR SELF via identity affirmations.

Usually at this point i start to visualize where i'll wake up and sometimes i get so deep in it that i dont even have to do CONNECTION because i'll start hearing stuff from my DR or feeling stuff. Like if i'm petting my cat, i'll subtly feel her fur but like in my CR if that makes sense?? It's like i can FEEL it as my DR self but my CR self is feeling the sensations. I actually hate this because it feels like a game of cat n fucking mouse. Like whats the point of that "phantom" ass feeling? Just shift and feel it for real lmaoo!!

I'm going to try to explain this as best i can: When I shift while awake, it's lik the reality fades in. Like, I'm in my CR doing affs, and then all of a sudden i'm in my DR. . . there is no distinction of travel between the two. i'm just here one moment and then the next im in my DR. I can never predict the exact moment because it just happens and im not even really paying attention when it does. I just notice that i'm there, yk?

lately i've been getting bored after the feelings stop, so i just kinda give up :/ but i still hear stuff from my DR so i count that as a partial shift, aka shifting regardless!!!

A lot of you are extremely confused about this term.

Do you even know what it means?

Void = Empty.

It’s not a place you need to visit. It’s not some mystical portal. It’s pure nothingness.

You enter this state to lose all your identity—your beliefs, everything. You’re just fleeting. That’s void.

And no, it’s not something you need to lie in a starfish position and count to a hundred or whatever.

Yes, a hypnagogic state is helpful when trying to enter the void—but that’s not the only way. You enter the void by accident all the time. You know that moment when you zone out? No thoughts, no feelings, nothing, just staring into oblivion—that’s void.

It’s what you existed as before consciousness came into play. It’s the space on the computer before the title of the game or the source code existed.

Why do people say they manifested instantly after coming out of the void?

Because they reset their whole existence. Their old identity is nowhere to be found.

In the void, there are no contradictions. There are no limits. There is nothing.

You just exist, floating in the knowing that there is only you. Nothing else. No one else.

Why is the void referred to as limitless, silent, or dark?

Because that’s how our brain perceives creation—the beginning and the end.

It’s a space you deliberately create to get out of your own way.

In the void, the noise stops. Your doubts, your “what ifs,” your resistance—everything that blocks you—falls away.

It’s neutral. Empty. Waiting.

This is where your mind can finally be saturated with your instructions, your identity, your desires. Where old voices—critical, limiting, programmed from childhood—have no power.

The void doesn’t create. You do.

The void doesn’t manifest. You do.

The void simply clears the path.

Think of it like cleaning your workspace before building a machine. If your desk is cluttered, you can’t work efficiently. The void is the clean desk. You bring the blueprints, the tools, the materials—that’s where the magic happens.

it's simple.

i've recently been doing research on why awake methods seem to be "ineffective" for me and using tarot cards to get deeper personal insight on what i should do differently and instead i ended up exploring a rabbit hole on spirituality and meditation.

i feel that maybe this resonates for many people and could be really helpful in allowing yourself to successfully shift; during awake methods sometimes you may be deep into your attempt and suddenly get a gut feeling that "nothing is working" or even a sudden deep urge to open your eyes and confirm that "you're still here", the best way i could describe this is as for example: i may be affirming that i am present in my intended reality constantly and within a good amount of minutes of doing so my thoughts will strongly waver towards disproving that and completely counterarguing it, trying desperately to remind me that i am still in my cr or that i should open my eyes. a sort of huge wave of disappointment.

this is whole experience in meditation is named by many different terminologies in the spiritual community such as: "the ego self" or in other words "the guardian" (rudolf steiner’s esoteric teachings) and it refers to your engrained beliefs that you learn based off of your experiences in this original reality, it's an attempt for your consciousness to make logical sense of the sudden loss of control and the shift that is beginning to take place.

it means that you are actually approaching and are close to shifting or if anything your "attempt" is working so deeply that as a result you're threatening your own beliefs of what physical reality is, who and where you are so much so that you've awaken or encountered (3.4.3) your "ego", a self defense to make sense of everything. you're rewriting your identity as a being and that is seen as a threat your physical body and so it desperately tries to make sense of this experience. it's not a flaw it's actually an attempt at your self trying to protect yourself from the unfamiliar.

this is important and where shifters say "let go" or have "patience" it applies here, do not fight the doubts or insecurities that come, persist in the feeling of knowing you are shifting and surrender to it, acknowledge each urge but understand that it does not defy nor control your abilities, remember that you are more than your physical self, take each thought as a wave count to 30 if you need to, the longer you persist and do not fight but rather alchemize these thoughts, the more they'll quieten until they become nothing and gradually you'll enter a deeper state and sink, losing awareness of your reality each time.

you are able to shift with doubts. you do not have to fight them, you have to acknowledge them and realise you hold more power. each time you fight them the more power you give these thoughts and the less you'll allow yourself to flow.

at certain point you'll reach a deep meditative state where you're free of any thoughts and your doubts do not seem as having much power, you're unaware of your surroundings and completely free of anything, free of expectations of what reality is and what we're "able to do" and most importantly free of any reality. that is when grounding affirmations can redirect your subconscious completely to another reality.

so anytime you've taken a shifting awake method attempt and felt "nothing is working" remember you were closer than you think.

hello sorry for the late reply I’ve been inactive (again)

my biggest suggestion is to not get too attached to other people’s experiences or what they say online, no matter if they say “I shifted it’s real” or “shifting is lucid dreaming/I lied about shifting”

I always did this to prove to myself that it’s real and never cared what other people had to say. you got some good advice? I’ll listen to it but everything else fell on deaf ears. I feel like if you put too much faith into other people this will always lead to disappointment

also if it was a collective lie it would be dead by now. like the shifting community would be dead, but years later people still talk about it or their experiences, many have shifted and dropped from the internet because now they have everything they wanted and others still offer advice to help other people succeed. nobody would keep a lie up for so long if they didn’t gain anything from it; it was a good shock value for views back in 2020 but now you literally gain nothing if you talk about it online, yet I see people make new accounts to share their experiences and help people all the time
