I hate, āwhy did he wait 3 years to say anythingā bullshit. Its coming from the same people who get angry when people ask why a woman marry a man whose already abused them. In 6 days he lost his mother, his marriage, and the reputation he spent 30 years building. Hes also confronted with the reality that hes been fooled for years by Amber. So of course hes going to need time to heal from all of it before being well enough to fight back. He probably just hoped itd go away and he could move on. But every few months Amber is giving speeches or writing essays about surviving abuse.

I agree with you! He lost alot of things during that time and EVERYONE would need to heal from that, not only that but his abusive partner left him alone finally, but then there was this court process that he was involved in that probably didnāt allow him to heal at all, my guess is he wanted the trial to be over and just catch a break, but he couldnāt.
he was probably manipulated so hard that he didnāt fully realise he was abused too until afterward cause everyone around him would act like he hadnāt been, and then he had to emotionally deal with the fact that that had happened. the main people in his life throughout the marriage were amber and amberās friends (which, not to go on a tangent, but a huge sign of an abuser is that they cut off everyone from the other personās life and have control over who they know/talk to). the people living around him were amber, raquel, and io (they literally lived in his penthouses). obviously, they would convince him that the way amber treated him is normal

Deppās legal team obtained testimony of celebrity stylist, Samantha McMillen. McMillen says she has helped style Heard for āmajor eventsā since 2014.
Specifically, she describes styling the star for an appearance on āThe Late Late Show with James Cordenā on December 16, 2015, after the actress alleged Depp had given her two black eyes during an argument that occurred the previous night.
āThroughout the day of December 16, 2015, I could see clearly that Amber Heard did not have any visible marks, bruises, cuts, or injuries to her face or any other part of her body,ā McMillen testified.
When describing those facial injuries, McMillen said, āMs. Heard did not have any black eyes, and had been visibly uninjured throughout the day and at that moment.ā
The stylist also gave testimony about working with Heard on May 24, 2016 ā¦ the day allegedly brutal fight that Heard recounted during her emotional deposition.
McMillen said she showed up to the house around noon and āshe came to me at the bottom of the staircase in Mr. Deppās house and gave me a hug, sobbing.ā
The stylist was adamant Heard had no marks on her face during their meeting on May 24, but admitted, āThree days after my encounter with Ms. Heard, on May 27, 2016, I saw in the media that Ms. Heard had gone to Court with prominent injuries visible on her face. I knew that she did not have those marks on her face May 24, 2016 when I was with her.ā
