*A/N: Hey guys! Long time no imagine! Sorry for not posting much but I will try and post as much imagines as possible soon! Almost done my exams and then I should be back to posting, I love you all and I hope you enjoy! It's a very dramatic imagine butttt I kinda liked it! Anyways I love yousssss* Pony and I have been best friends for years, and being friends with him means being friends with the WHOLE gang, except for one...one greaser who can't stand me and I will never understand why. You're probably wondering who this is, I'll give you a few hints to help you out...he's 17 with thick black hair who hates anyone younger then him, have you figured it out yet? Steve Randle. Steve has hated me since the day he first met me, he thinks of me and Pony as "Tag alongs" which used to annoy me at first, but now I've gotten used to it. I usually never said much whenever Steve would make a mean comment or joke about insecurities of mine, but this time was different, this time I had had enough. "Hey Twobit, you wanna come with me and Y/N to the dingo tonight?" Pony asked. It didn't take long for Two to say "Sure why not?" We all know he's got nothing better to do. And of course, what conversation doesn't the lovely Randle get himself into? "You're actually gonna hang out with a bunch of ten year olds?" Sneered Steve. Before Twobit could say anything, I piped in "That the best you can do Randle?" I laughed in a mocking tone. Steve turned his head to look at me "Why don't cha shut your mouth kid" "Nah" I replied smirking, I knew how to push his buttons, and he was just falling into it. Twobit and Pony looked at each other nervously, I can't blame them though, the tension in the room could make anyone feel uncomfortable. "I don't understand how anyone can stand you" He scoffed. "Well I gu-" Before I could say a sarcastic reply, he interrupted me. "Especially your parents" he said. I froze right then and there, I knew what he was doing. "But wait, what am I saying? They can't stand you, they hate you, and I can't blame them" he yelled. That's it, I had enough. I jumped out of my chair and pounced right on him, screaming and punching his face. "Y/N STOP! HE ISNT WORTH IT!" Pony yelled, him and Twobit trying to pry me off of him, but I wouldn't stop, I couldn't. Just then Darry walked in. "What the hell is going on here?!" He yelled, pulling me off Steve, damn those muscles of his. Everyone just stood there, well except for Steve...he was still on the floor holding his nose. They all turned and stared at me, shocked about what they just saw, I wasn't known as a 'fighter' I couldn't take it anymore, I stormed out and ran, straight to the lot, crying my eyes out. I could here yelling behind me but I didn't care, I just kept running. Suddenly I felt two hands on my back and we collapsed to the ground. "Where the hell did you think you were goin?!" Pony said, out of breath. Looking down on me. And then the tears started happening....again. We both sat up and I just poured my whole soul out to this boy. "I feel terrible, I can't believe I did that" I cried, still upset about what happened. Pony looked at me with sympathy. "Don't worry about it, it's about time you stuck up for yourself anyways" He chuckled. "But still Pone, I feel terrible" I replied, not crying anymore. Ponyboy sighed. "What do ya wanna do then? "Apologize" I answered, looking down onto the grass. "Alright let's go" Pony said, taking my hand as we walked back to the Curtis house. By then the whole gang was there, even though we were only gone for about 20 minutes. When we walked into the house I heard my name being called by Dally. I walked over to him and he smirked at me. "Didn't know you had it in ya kid" He laughed, lightly punching my arm. "Yah and I feel like shit so don't talk about it, where's Steve?" I asked. "He's in the kitchen" Dally answered, turning over to Johnny. I walked into the kitchen and saw Steve with a bag of frozen peas to his eyes, sitting at the table. I walked over and sat across from him, it was silent for about a minute. "Hey, I'm sorry for what I said" Steve said, breaking the silence. "I forgive you, and I'm sorry for bruising your face" I replied. He started laughing which made me smile. "But I have a question, why do you hate me so much? What did I do?" I asked, staring at him from across the table. He paused before replying "Kid I don't hate cha, I just like teasing ya that's all" "I can deal with that, just know your limits or else I might have to give you a busted lip next time" I said laughing. He smiled, and I walked back to where the whole gang was. I think Steve and I are going to be okay.
