After the accident I have forgotten everything we have gone through. Our past, the adventures we shared, the love we had... You cried, you broke, you were in pain and it was my fault. I couldn't love you the way you love me, not with all those memories gone. I pushed you away, I would ask myself, "How could I ever love this stranger?" But the farther I pushed you away, the more you were crawling into my life. You were willing to start over, you were willing to push aside our past and be my friend. I was hesitant and scared I would hurt you, but I agreed. I knew I owed you that. The more we hung out, the more I realized what an amazing person you are. You listened, you took care of me, you were there for me. Even for the littlest things. When I had that massive headache and you were there, you didn't leave my side. You comforted me in ways I didn't expect, but I felt at home. Then I was assigned to be your Secret Santa and gave you presents that reminded me of you and you loved them. Yet, you gave me a present. Let me say it was beautiful that I had to keep it and wear it. Then it was Christmas Day and I experienced every emotion in one day. Sadness, anger, jealousy, happy, and love. A memory came back, something the doctor said I had 10% chance of. It wasn't a full on memory, but a small one. That small memory helped me realize something. I still have the love for you I thought I lost. Then looking through our past, I fell all over again and kissed you. I may have forgotten everything, but you know what? I have you and that's all I ever need in life. You fought for me and didn't run away. Something that not many would do. I love you so much, and this time I'm not going anywhere. I may have lost our past, but we have now. Thank you for fighting and loving me the way I never thought anyone could. I love you. @parkerjameson
