Location Nine Seventeen feet from the corner of the Triangular Plant Bed closest to the road, along the outside edge of the Triangular Plant Bed. Ten feet directly away from the Triangular Plant Bed towards the trees.

these four images are the same location at different years, sourced from Google Earth. Soil deposits have clogged the rivers and forced the water into different routes.

The exact shape, size and geographical orientation of Robert Smithson's iconic Spiral Jetty piece was imposed over Berlin on Google Earth in on of the only areas of the city which could accommodate it. These drawings document the geographical coordinates along the path when walking along the shadow of the Spiral Jetty. Each drawing is an exact, to-scale copy of a single coordinate. but in being taken out of context is abstracted. Set of 21 24.6 x 24.6 cm each by James M Blagden
