The intent was to come over to watch a movie and then they veered off into talking about their feelings. Both of their minds raced around inside their heads, so it wasn’t surprising that they’d start watching a movie and then move onto something else. “It depends on the person though. Or is that just not true?” he asked. Sometimes a person could be weird with sick tendencies too. Not that Josh was going to mention that as it wasn’t necessary. It was also a bit of a creepy thing to mention. “Liam is going to have a field day with this information,” he paused and chuckled. “Well maybe most people are going to have a field day with it… we know how people are.” Did Josh really care what people thought? Not really. Fact remained that they’ve already decided they were going to explore things between them. The only one person whose opinion mattered to him was Liam’s.Â
Nodding her head he was right on that. It did depend on the person and what weird they really were. “ Oh yes I mean you could be like Hannibal Lectar or something.” She chuckled as she thought about what everyone would say. Some maybe happy and knew it was coming. Other maybe weren’t too thrilled. “ Oh you know he is going to give us shit for this. As far ast he other people go I don’t really care.” Leaning her head against the couch she didn’t care. She was happy with how this wsas going and what they were doing. Now if Liam had issues with it, he hadn’t said and she hoped he didn’t . He was their good friend and the last thing she wanted to do was do something to upset him.

It was a big step, one that he didn’t regret, but also knew what was at stake too. There was always stakes with everything in life and you had to be really gutsy to take risks. Something that Jennifer and him were doing now… taking a risk by exploring things between them. “I guess so,” he said with a smile. This wasn’t forced by any means but he knew that people would be shocked over it. Mostly Liam because they’ve known each other for years now. They had an unbreakable bond. “Your weird person at that because lets face it, I’m pretty weird.”Â
The smile on her face was bright as the sun if you’d ask her. The movie that was playing on her t.v. was one she probably couldn’t tell you how it took place and what happened. She had been way more focused on the guy sitting next to her. The way he made her heart race and the butterflies flutter in her stomach. “ Well then,” she let out as she had stayed close to him. She hadn’t moved away because she didn’t want to. She knew Liam probably would be shocked, humored and many more things. She also knew that the internet would have a field day if they got their hands on this. “ All the best people are weird let’s be real.” She chuckled as she tucked a strand of hair behind her ears.

He didn’t think that there was a chance if things didn’t work out that whatever they had previous, like their friendship, would be completely different. Slightly it would alter and rightfully so. But they wouldn’t just stop being friends for no reason. “I want to explore them. Well sure things will be different in that regard. But neither one of us would just throw away our friendship if things went down south.” You could still be friends afterwards if things didn’t entirely work out. Unless for whatever reason you totally hated the person and never wanted anything to do with them ever again. Josh knew that wouldn’t be the case though.
She smiled when he said he wanted to see where things went as well. She was nervous and thinking of everything that could and couldn’t happen was something she did. “ Well I guess it’s settled then.” She grinned as it got wider and she couldn’t help but show the smile on her face. She was happy and excited and so many other emotions as well. “ We will never not be friends no matter what happens Josh. You are my person.” She chuckled as she used a Grey’s Anatonmy reference for what they were going through.

Maybe if he had opened up more about how he was feeling, he wouldn’t be so inept in keeping how he felt locked away for so long. Perhaps it had been a good thing up until now. Who was to say for sure? Not him. Josh smiled back, “No it wasn’t so bad.” It still didn’t answer the age old question of what they should do about how they were feeling. If anything. “Still don’t know what we should do about our feelings though. Do we just not bother in doing anything with them or….explore?” There were only two options here and both of them had their upsides and downsides.Â
When it came to the feelings they had and where they should taked them, that was the question. Looking at Josh she glanced down and ten back up. “ I mean I want to explore them if you do. I mean I don’t want to ruin our friendship at all. Yet I don’t know after that I am not sure that it will be like it was.” She didn’t want to make him think that if anything were to go bad they would never be friends again. That was far rfom the truth. She would always be his friend and he’d always be hers.
