Hi! I recently discovered (and then re-read, and re-read again) OTNWAS and it was an absolutely amazing story.

It came out several years after you finished posting chapters, so I don't know if you've heard it, but I feel like you might like the song Kaze no Anthem (Wind's Anthem). It was created as the theme song for the Witch Hat Atelier Anime but the instrumentation and especially the lyric-translation feel incredibly OTNWAS-coded to me.

i just wanted to say I read ontwas and it was honestly my favorite fic I've ever read. I downloaded it on my Kindle and I read it until like 2 AM for a couple nights straight until I finished it (I binged it in a week and I'm probably gonna reread it 😭) I forgot how much I loved reading fantasy until I read this fic. I can tell you put so much love into it and every detail is *chef's kiss*. However my cute headcanon is that after everyone is done celebrating Christmas at the end Hijack finally gets their kiss under the mistletoe.

Additionally, I was on the chapter where YOU KNOW WHAT happens and I totally thought that was gonna be the end of the fic and because I couldn't read the actual end of it for a couple days and I was so sad that they were separated and my heart broke. Needless to say I was delighted to read the epilogue :]

i'm not even really into either fandom, i've seen httyd/race to the edge but i've never seen rise of the guardians so I've got no clue what percentages of things are or aren't canon, but that's honestly okay with me because I enjoyed this fic so much even with minimal context

happy you enjoyed it!!! i recommend seeing rise of the guardians also. its an Alright movie that i like a lot, and also fun to watch it through the otnwas lens lol

i've been wanting to make something for these two since february AAAAHHH-- i was already in the crossover pit for a long while, but for these two? ooohohoho if there's anything i can say, @jjackfrost's "Of The Northmost Winds and Skies" fic absolutely changed me. it's sooooo well written, i adore how on point the characters are, and augh, the worldbuilding and story!! it's so so good. it made me binge read through an evening following to the entire day the following day (it's rotg 2 in my heart).
