But the restraint we've seen from him in ep 7 is mildly refreshing. Sure he spent a good bulk of it being angry but at least he was mostly keeping it to himself. He hasn't exploded at Jane or anyone else.

When we got the ep description I thought he was going to be indifferent to Little Jane but he really wasn't. I could see he was holding back. He couldn't even look at Little Jane.

And also the whole thing with Little Jane wanting to apologize. I think Big Jane was avoiding the topic because he didn't want to rehash the situation. Everything that was wrong in their relationship and him respecting Little Jane's request to get lost. I'm sure they're both hurt by everything that happened between them.

And the whole Dan situation. I was enjoying Big Jane's OBVIOUS jealousy because he can't help but be jealous. Jennalee is still so nice and friendly with Dan whereas he's walking on eggshells with Big Jane. It's easy to notice the difference in how the exes are treated.

But what Big Jane doesn't know is that Little Jane acts that way because he's still in love with Big Jane and not Dan. It's easier to be chill with an ex you no longer have feelings for.

And I do like that he kept the app rejection for Dan strictly professional. And I loved to see Big Jane still accepting full responsibility for why they broke up, despite Little Jane's constant apologies. He knows he messed up their relationship and made Little Jane's life miserable.

"Working with me, the first rule is the same. Don't be too emotional."
