ÂŤCriminal The way we love The way we hate Itâs almost human Eyes are open wide Sit on the rooftop, scream at the sky again Dance to the radio, end of the world we know Ugly is beautiful, beauty in stereo Thinking of you All the words weâve thrown away Like papercuts they just keep piling Higher and higher throughout the day Illogical the script weâre writing Chemical The way we love The way we hate Itâs quite inhumanÂť

*My Hero by the Foo Fighters plays*
i love how there are 5 funko pop vinyl sherlock and 2 jim but only one john, they donât give a fuck about him itâs beautiful not to mention that one sherlock has the IOU apple in his handâŚâŚ lowkey sheriarty stuffâŚâŚ
Scary Jim
I claim that a âscaryâ character who seeks to destroy due to sadism is different from Jim. Destruction is repetitive. It works by repeating the same criminal acts over and over again. The criminal acts only become bigger, badder, and with more pain for more people. This is an annihilating and destructive villain like the Joker in Nolanâs film. If people view Jimâs villainy as being a villainy of this sort then his suicide also gets viewed as just a final repetition, the ultimate crime that one can commit in that oneâs intent to annihilate and destroy is finally turned inward in a final act demonstrative of apathy and complete lack of fucks: suicide.
I claim that such an interpretation ignores a very important aspect of Jimâs character. Jim, like Sherlock, deplored repetition. Jim wanted to make new things for Sherlock, and Sherlock wanted new things. Although destruction and annihilation didnât bother Jim (âThatâs what people do!â), it also wasnât his main motivation. (âWhy are you doing this?â âI love to watch you dance.â) Jimâs identity as a consulting-criminal to Sherlockâs consulting-detective, as a villain to Sherlockâs hero, is demonstrative of a much more affirming motivation. Not a sadistic motivation to destroy and annihilate out of hatred.
His character wasnât about destruction. It was about Sherlock. It was about what they shared and built together, a shared life that began when Carl Powers died. Both had knowledge no one else in the world had: knowledge that the secret to the death was connected to the missing shoes. Jimâs motivation was also about another thing he and Sherlock shared together: the Final Problem.
Jimâs suicide wasnât an ultimate act of negation or annihilation, a big âI give no fucksâ moment. Jim might view humanity as tawdry, but his feelings for Sherlock were sincere. The moment before his suicide was a sincere moment where he thanked Sherlock and shook his hand because he could die knowing that he wasnât alone, that his life hadnât been completely empty, that he had actually made meaningful contact with someone. He was so angry that Sherlock initially seemed to be losing âthe gameâ so badly. Jim didnât want to just âbeat Sherlockâ because it wasnât about âbeating Sherlock.â If Jim did beat Sherlock then itâd just make Sherlock one of many easy victories, and Jimâs whole life would then have been completely empty. Jim didnât want to âwin the game.â He wanted to know that he wasnât alone.
He didnât want to live because he saw life as boring, meaningless, stale. Thereâs a lot of factors that can contribute to that outlook. It shouldnât just be reduced to him being âso inhuman.â Lots of humans feel that way for all sorts of different reasons. Spiders donât feel that way. Neither do monsters, which donât exist except in fairy tales.
Reducing Jimâs outlook to simple sadism and desire for destruction simplifies and ignores other aspects of his character. It reads his identity as âconsulting criminalâ as being about a desire to create repetitive acts of destruction, which Jim found boring. He didnât find it boring because he was that apathetic but because he was much more interested in Sherlock who, like Jim, craves new, and interesting, and creative things. Reading Jim as sadistic or completely soulless implies that his affection for Sherlock was faked or tied in with âbeating Sherlockâ and being an âultimate baddieâ when it demonstrably wasnât. That was the point of the roof scene.
Jim was as human a human as Sherlock or Mycroft. That being said, he certainly does kill and express coldness and contempt towards humanity, like Sherlock and Mycroft do. Heâs the only one punished and dehumanized, though. Of course. He is, after all, a villain. However, his actions can be challenged without dehumanizing him. Sherlock and Mycroftâs actions, notably, never even get challenged despite being very, very similar to Jimâs. Sherlock and Mycroftâs actions are portrayed as though they arenât even meant to be noticed or questioned. Pretty terrifying stuff, indeed.
I simply cannot get over the fact that Jim died while holding Sherlockâs hand.
Before the fall. Jim starts driving to Baker St. at night, parking his car close enough to watch Sherlock at the window, playing his violin. Sherlock realizes immediately to whom the sleek, silver Bentley, subtly exuding wealth, belongs. Playing on, he waits eagerly for those few seconds when the headlights of passing cars illuminate Jim's, and he is able to catch a glimpse of the slight manâs face. (1/2)
The nights Jim waits without Sherlock appearing, a staggering feeling of loss and numbness envelops him; he goes to a bar to find someone to take home. Jim always fucks them hard, relentlessly, kicking them out at first light; the closeness of another human being not enough to close the gaping hole in his chest. The nights Jim does not come, Sherlock goes to bed fully clothed, well aware that the burning in his throat, the pounding of his heart and his swirling thoughts will leave him sleepless.
Itâs sad that they only touched each other on the roof, before Jim shot himself in the mouth. Always so close but too far at the same time.

Jim Moriarty, Sherlock Holmes, and John Watson making a brief cameo in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic - 5x05 âRarity Investigates!â

why are you laughing? series 4 looks great imo
Jim Moriarty in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic - 5x05 âRarity Investigates!â
At 17:07 in this video being chased by unicorn Sherlock with a bee cutie mark and earth pony John with a wall smiley face cutie mark, this is the most adorable thing Iâve ever seen haha
lmao Iâm such shipper trash. In my frenzy to figure out when the hell that figurine was released, I read that sentence without the comma and boy does that make a difference.
Sherlock has always been curious about Jimâs job: he wants to know how Jim works, how he talks to his clients, how he comes up with such clever and brilliant ideas. He wants to see one of his crimes happening in front of his eyes. Jim just canât say no to Sherlock, so he agrees and he even decides to make an exception and looking at the murder he just planned, just to satisfy Sherlockâs morbid curiosity.
Sherlock knows that a man dying shouldnât get in the mood. He knows that he shouldnât be turned on by Jim killing someone and yetâŚ
Hopefully, Jim doesnât seem to mind his boner. Quite the opposite: he goes down on his knees without saying a word.

This was a commission for the awesome and perfect jxhniarty!!! Thank you so much lovely! <3 I had the most fun. :)
John wrote even a little bit of something (SUPER HOT):Â
He always found John beautiful on his knees, those soft lips wrapped around his cock as he met Jimâs heated gaze. Johnny loved choking on Daddyâs dick, and Jim loved watching him turn red with embarrassment and desire. The knowledge that Sherlock or the sweet little landlady could walk in at any moment only made it more thrilling.
âGood boy, Johnny,â he whispered with a grin.
Thank you again!! It was a pleasure. :3
