this christmas break is really not helping my productivity. however, today i did get to study a bit and i’m quite content with myself.

22/10/15 • reviewing cognitive psych notes. big midterm on Tuesday!!!

writing notes for my history assignment ft. my new schoolbag, 300817

worked a super long and suuuuuper slow shift at the welcome table for incoming international students, but had the best time bonding with my shift mates! always try and make connections with your colleagues, it makes work feel like play~ now i’m jumping between chinese vocab review on quizlet and finishing moving back into my old room at my parents’ house (which i’m moving back out of in like three weeks lmao why am i even trying?)

Finally felt able to look at my work again, for the first time really since finishing my degree. I’m editing a few pieces – one is an essay on Europe which I started a year ago. Reading it again, it’s clear how much has changed and continues to change all the time. Scary, and exciting

Lazy Sunday catching up on my journal and napping.

woke up early because of construction noises, so i dragged myself to campus and tried a new café while finishing up my reading for this afternoon’s seminar.

!!!and the new mug I bought myself!!! I love it so much, it says “love is love is love is love” around the rim :))))

my essay came to my parents’ house with me so i’ve parked myself at the old kitchen table and i’m drinking coffee out of a mug that looks like it has hedwig reading a book on it (rad) and enjoying the fact that the temperature here is cool enough that i am comfortably wearing a sweater. this is very good.

Working on an essay in my favourite coffee shop, class was cancelled for me today so I have a lot of time! I’m excited for halloween tomorrow but really don’t want to write this essay
