go big or go home

⏤ creator's note :: jihoon is my ult of ults, but you wouldn't know that unless you know. i'm not often as loud or persistent in gushing about how dear he is to me, and i usually say it's because he doesn't need me to be because he's so well loved, but in reality i think it's just Too Close most of the time. i see so much of myself in him, except ... every good quality we share is better in him. jihoon is resilience personified - he is no stranger to failure and setbacks, but he knows they are a chance to learn, improve, and come back stronger rather than something to dwell on. and when things are difficult, he not only keeps his own head up, but seeks to lift those around him. that is who he is as a leader, a teammate, and a friend. and he is everyone's friend. you will not find anything he can't tell you about the people he loves most, and he thrives on playing around with them and enjoying things together. jihoon is honest, quick-witted, silly, and humble. i am so proud of how his confidence and performance has grown in the time i've been a fan. he is incredibly hard-working and diligent. he loves with his whole chest. he may not know it, but he's been holding my hand through the last very challenging year and reminding me not to give up, to keep learning and improving, and to keep finding reasons to laugh. he inspires me to continue to take every opportunity to encourage the people around me and remind us all that we are in this together. life is not meant to be lived alone, and i'm so glad i'm getting to live mine right now with jihoon and treasure by my side. happy birthday to my beloved jiji, an irreplaceable source of strength and inspiration and joy, my ult of ults ♡
