There was a time in where I questioned God’s goodness in my heart. Earlier last year, the circumstances of my life had been going in a direction that I thought was going to change my life for good. I thought I had reached a point where the next steps for me were clear, where I knew what was going to happen. I was so excited about the future that seemed to be in front of me. But all that changed completely. Mid last year I Iost my Job, almost every aspect of what of what I had planned fell apart. But one of my friend recommended a job, I tried to apply for the position and thank God I get hired. It went well until the company got into a financial problem, and truth to be told we haven’t received our salaries since last year of November. I no longer knew what I would be doing in the next few months until new year came. Nanay got rushed to hospital due to kidney stone and since the conpany were not able to gave our compensation not until today. I used my savings to pay the hospital bills and got me to the point where its in zero balance. But the good thing is Nanay got out in the hospital with successfull operation. But life test and trials isnt ended yet. My lolo died February this year I even celebrated my birthday beside his coffin. It was one of the loneliest times of my life. After that I dont know where to start and how to start, what i need to do is to find new jobs as soon as possible but it wasnt easy, i’ve been in many interviews the failed to make it, been take exams but failed to pass, been in panel interviews but still cant get it. Depression and stress got me, I went to point where i didn’t eat for the one day, sleeping all day long. Watched movies and stuff. I wondered whether I had done something wrong, or whether I had just misheard God’s voice. It took many months, but yesterday after my last interview the strong rain soaked me. He said to me clearly that He had never changed that whole time. He had remained faithful and loving to me. What was missing was my perspective. His goodness never changes because He never changes! I simply could not see it from my partial and flawed perspective. Even when the Lord spoke that thruth to me, I had to believe it by faith. I could not explain everything that happened. Today, I still may not be able to explain every detail, but what I definitely can explain is that since then, I have seen the goodness of the Lord. Even in taking things away, He was actually merciful and loving and good because He knew what was best for me.
