KING JULIAN

he has a hot confident shell. he KNOWS he’s attractive- or, rather, he knows that Other People think he’s attractive. he coasts on that. he knows that, for whatever reason, people tend to like having him around. he clings to that. 

julian has a very very deep seeded difficulty to understand Who He Is, and (just like his mama) sees himself only as valuable as what he can do/provide for others. he continues to do what gets him good reactions as much as he can until he can’t even control the urge anymore. 

julian DEEPLY wishes he were able to like. shut the fuck up for Two Seconds. every time a word passes his lips, he holds his breath and waits for a good reaction; and regardless OF the reaction, he can’t usually stop himself from letting even more words out. he rambles, he jabbers, he chats, he flirts, he jokes, he talks. he cannot stop talking. if he stops talking he might not be there anymore. sometimes he WISHES he was no longer there. he’s not sure what urge scares him more; that not being present would erase him from existence, or that sometimes he would prefer that fate to having to beg to matter. 

julian will not look away from your eye contact. he’ll even wink at you. he needs you to know he’s there. he needs you to hang on his every word because then, at least, they will have a purpose for existing, and then HE will have a purpose for existing. he’ll flirt, look you up and down no matter who you are. make you feel good about yourself- it always comes from a genuine place of joy, of a hunger to be around other people and make them feel nice around him. he’ll welcome you into his circle; which is more of a web, really, where he draws lines between groups that let him flutter in, the social butterfly.
