Bonus: a bunch of different rough takes

This piece was used for the cover of Flinthook’s OST. It started with “the Dunce” logo, which is an unrelated achievement in the game. Thought it sounded like a band name and then I just had fun sliding in little details from the game like the bell in a bubble, the shrine siren statue’s flute and so on.

It hooks up right into the game’s intro sequence; It develops a bit more what has become my favorite Tribute character so far; We discover that Cyrus, Wizorb’s Whimsical Wizard, is Allison’s father, so it’s kind of a prequel to Wizorb at the same time; It showcases some of the game’s mechanics; There’s even a bunch of in-game sprites. I mean, come on!
