Huh, no need to hiss at me, ok? I was just trying to pet you is all. Generally in my experience most cats enjoy being petted but evidently you don’t, I see. I’m usually quite good with cats whenever I’m allowed around them though that’s apparently not often enough. I suppose it’s rather strange of me to even be talking to an animal that clearly doesn’t want anything to do with me besides to hiss at me. If you want rid of me so badly take it up with your owner, except you can’t as you are a cat.

Once the cat showed signs of liking the affection, well, Veronica didn't hold back.
