Loving God and Loving Others

"Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me." — John 15:4

Sit With Jesus

You have come.

You have eaten.

You have remembered.

Now remain.

Do not think My table is a place you visit only for a few moments. My table is where you learn to live.

I have not invited you into a ceremony.

I have invited you into fellowship.

As you receive My body and My blood, receive My presence.

When you leave the bread and the cup behind, do not leave Me behind.

Walk with Me.

Work with Me.

Rest with Me.

Rejoice with Me.

Let every conversation become an extension of our communion.

Let every act of love become an offering at My table.

As I washed My disciples' feet, I continue to wash those who walk with Me. Come often. Bring Me the dust of your journey. I will cleanse your feet, refresh your heart, and strengthen you for the road ahead.

Remain in My love.

Remain in My peace.

Remain at My table.

For I remain with you.

Prayer

Lord Jesus,

Thank You for Your body broken for us and Your blood poured out for us.

Thank You that Your table is not a place we visit, but a life You invite us to live.

As we rise from this meal, may we never leave Your presence.

Wash the dust from our feet as we walk through this world.

Teach us to love as You loved.

Teach us to serve as You served.

Keep us abiding in You, as You abide in us.

Until the day we drink the cup anew with You in the Father's Kingdom, keep us faithful, thankful, humble, and full of joy.

We remain at Your table because You remain with us.

Sit With Jesus

Before you take the bread...

Before you lift the cup...

Come to Jesus.

Communion begins with His invitation.

His body was given for you.

His blood was poured out for you.

Take a quiet moment to look at Him before you look at yourself.

As you hold the bread, remember His body broken for you.

Thank Him for bearing your sin, your sorrow, and every burden upon the cross.

If you are carrying weakness, pain, or sickness, bring it to Jesus. Place it into His loving hands. Trust Him with every part of your life.

Then receive the bread with thanksgiving.

Lift the cup and remember the New Covenant sealed by His blood.

You have been welcomed to the Father's table through His Son.

As you receive the bread and the cup, remain with Him.

Like qavah, be woven into His love.

Do not hurry away.

Abide in Him.

For the One who says,

"Take and eat..."

also says,

"Abide in Me."

Abba Father,

ToDah for inviting me to Your table.

Thank You for the body of Jesus given for me and His blood poured out for me.

As I receive these gifts, draw me nearer to You.

Teach me to abide in Christ and remain in Your love.

I receive You with gratitude and trust.

Sit With Jesus

Before Jesus sent His disciples, He walked with them.

He taught them.

He loved them.

He broke bread with them.

He washed their feet.

He filled them with His Spirit.

Then He said, "Go."

But He never meant, "Go without Me."

His invitation has always been the same:

Come to Me.

Walk with Me.

Remain in Me.

Then go with Me.

The Christian life is not about trying harder for Jesus.

It is about walking with Jesus.

Every conversation.

Every act of kindness.

Every opportunity to serve.

Every step of obedience.

He is already there.

We never leave His presence.

We simply carry His presence wherever He leads.

"Come and Go With Me"

Listen as though Jesus is singing these words directly to your heart.

Not merely sending you into the world—

But inviting you to walk every step with Him.

Jesus Speaks...

"My child...

Do not be afraid of where I send you.

I will never ask you to walk a road by yourself.

When you feel weak, lean on Me.

When you don't know what to say, listen for My voice.

When you grow weary, come back to My table.

I am not sending you away from Me.

I am inviting you to come and go with Me.

Today.

Tomorrow.

Until I bring you home."

Thank You for calling us before sending us.

Thank You for inviting us to Your table, feeding us with the Bread of Life, and filling us with Your Spirit.

Thank You, Yeshua, that You never send us alone.

Teach us to walk so closely with You that others see Your love before they notice us.

Come hungry.

Do not be ashamed of your hunger.

I placed that hunger within you so that you would seek Me.

Do not try to satisfy your soul with yesterday's bread or tomorrow's worries.

Come to Me for today's portion.

I am the Bread of Life.

I am Living Water.

Taste and see that I am good.

Open your hands.

Receive.

Eat.

Drink.

Be filled.

Then come again.

The more you receive Me, the more you will desire Me.

This is not emptiness.

It is invitation.

From My fullness you will receive grace upon grace.

My table is never empty.

There is always room for you.

There is always more.

Come back.

Come hungry.

Come often.

Taste and see that the Lord is good.

Eat of the Bread of Life.

Drink of Living Water.

Receive His love.

From His fullness we have all received...

Abba Father,

Thank You for preparing a table where every seat has a place and every heart is welcome.

Create within us a continual hunger and thirst for Jesus.

Teach us not to rush through Your presence but to linger at Your table, receiving today's bread with grateful hearts.

Keep us from trying to live on yesterday's meal.

Draw us back to You each day with fresh hunger and childlike expectation.

May we taste and see that You are good.

May we be filled with Christ until His life overflows through us to others.

And when all has been given and all has been received,

may You receive all the glory.

Sit With Jesus

Before you do...

Before you fix...

Before you strive...

See.

See the love of the Father.

Not earned.

Not purchased by your performance.

Not waiting for you to become better.

His love has already been lavished upon you.

The Father does not merely tolerate you.

He delights in calling you His child.

The world may give us many names.

Success.

Failure.

Strong.

Weak.

Accepted.

Rejected.

But the Father gives us one that stands above every other.

Child.

And John doesn't stop there.

He doesn't say, "One day you will be."

He says,

"And that is what we are."

This isn't wishful thinking.

It is present reality because of Jesus Christ.

So today...

Don't simply glance at this verse.

Pause.

Read it again.

Then ask the Holy Spirit to help you see what your heart may have overlooked.

The Father has loved you from the beginning.

Jesus has made the way.

The Spirit bears witness within you.

You are not an orphan.

You are not forgotten.

You are loved.

And that is who you are.

Open my eyes, Lord. Help me not just to read Your love... Help me to see it.

Abba Father,

Thank You for loving us with a love we could never earn and never deserve.

Open the eyes of our hearts to truly see what You have lavished upon us through Jesus Christ.

When other voices tell us who we are, teach us to believe Your voice above them all.

Help us to live today, not as orphans striving for acceptance, but as beloved sons and daughters resting in Your love.

May the way we receive Your love become the way we love others.

JESUS SAID... Come to Me

Matthew 11:28

"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."

Sit With Jesus: Jesus doesn't ask you to become stronger before you come. He doesn't wait until you've solved every problem or answered every question. He simply says, "Come." Bring your burdens, your fears, and your weariness. The One who invites you is the One who will carry you. His arms are open, His heart is gentle, and His invitation has never changed.

What This Means for Us

Because Jesus is the Beloved, we are called beloved.

He sees what He has accomplished, not what we have failed to do.

He remembers the Cross, not the mistakes we continue to rehearse.

He speaks life over us because that is who we are in Him.

Every day we hear countless voices. Some speak fear. Some speak shame. Some speak doubt.

But the voice of Jesus speaks love, acceptance, truth, hope, and life.

The more time we spend with Him—in His Word, in prayer, and in worship—the easier it becomes to recognize His voice, and the quieter every other voice becomes.

This week, make His voice your first voice in the morning, your loudest voice throughout the day, and your final voice before you sleep.

He is not merely speaking to you. He is speaking over you.

Jesus Says

"My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me."

John 10:27

A Prayer to Carry With You

Jesus,

Quiet every other voice in my life.

Help me hear You more clearly.

Remind me every day who I am in You—Your beloved.

Thank You that Your love has no flaw and Your grace never runs out.

Speak, Lord.

I am listening.

I will follow.

In Your holy name,

You are His.

You are loved.

You are never alone.

You are His beloved.

Jesus Says… Look to Me

"I know where your help comes from—not from your own strength, not from yesterday's victories, and not from tomorrow's plans. Your help comes from Me. Lift your eyes above the noise, above the mountains that seem impossible, and above every fear that seeks your attention. Look to Me. I have never failed you, and I never will. Before you ever called My name, I was watching over you. Before your heart grew weary, My grace was already sufficient. The One who called you is the One who keeps you. So do not lower your eyes to your circumstances. Lift them to your Savior. As you behold Me, peace will replace striving, hope will overcome fear, and My strength will become your strength. Keep looking to Me, My beloved. I am your Keeper, your Shepherd, your Redeemer, and your ever-present Help."

Exhortation

Today, choose where your eyes will rest.

The world will offer countless reasons to look down in discouragement or around in distraction. The Holy Spirit gently calls us to look up.

"I will lift up my eyes to the hills—From whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth." — Psalm 121:1–2

Looking to Jesus is not escaping reality; it is seeing reality through the presence and promises of God. The One who made the mountains is greater than every mountain you face. Lift your eyes today, and let your heart rest in the faithful Keeper of your soul.

Prayer

Abba Father, teach us to lift our eyes continually to You. Keep our hearts fixed on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith. When fear whispers, remind us where our help comes from. May our lives point others upward—to Christ alone. In the name of Yeshua HaMashiach. Amen.

JESUS SAYS...

Come Empty

"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled." — Matthew 5:6

We spend much of life trying to come to God with something to offer.

A stronger faith.

A better prayer.

A cleaner record.

A fuller resume.

Yet Jesus never asked us to impress Him. He invites us to come.

Come weary.

Come thirsty.

Come hungry.

Come empty.

The miracle has never been in what we bring. The miracle has always been in what He does with what we surrender.

Five loaves became a feast because they were placed into His hands.

Empty jars overflowed with oil because they were available to be filled.

An empty tomb became the announcement that death had been defeated forever.

God has always delighted in filling what is yielded to Him.

Perhaps the greatest obstacle to being filled isn't our weakness—it is the illusion that we are already full.

Pride leaves little room for grace.

Self-sufficiency leaves little room for dependence.

Busyness leaves little room for abiding.

But when we come honestly before Jesus, admitting our need, He never turns us away.

He is still the Bread of Life for the hungry.

Still Living Water for the thirsty.

Still Rest for the weary.

Still Peace for the anxious.

Still enough.

Today, don't measure what you have to offer Him.

Simply place your life into His hands again.

Empty hands have always been His favorite place to pour out heaven.

Prayer

Father,

Thank You that You never ask me to earn what You have already chosen to give through Your Son.

Forgive me for the times I have tried to carry burdens You never asked me to bear or prove myself worthy of Your love.

Today I come with open hands.

Empty my pride.

Empty my fear.

Empty every voice that competes with Yours.

Fill me with Your Spirit.

Fill me with Your peace.

Fill me with Your love until Christ is seen more clearly in me than I see myself.

Teach me to hunger for Your presence more than my own accomplishments, and to thirst for righteousness more than recognition.

May Your river flow through every surrendered place in my heart, bringing life wherever You lead me.

Here I am, Lord.

Fill me again.

And when You have filled me, let me become a vessel through which Your love is poured into the lives of others.

A Gift from My Heart to Yours

If there is one thing I have learned through the years, it is this:

Every person longs to love and to be loved.

That longing is not weakness.

It is not emptiness.

It is the fingerprint of our Creator upon every human heart.

Before we ever reached for God, He reached for us.

Before we ever loved Him, He loved us.

Before we ever gave Him anything, He gave us everything.

The Father gave His Son.

The Son gave His life.

The Holy Spirit was given to dwell within us forever.

God is both the Giver and the Gift.

Everything we truly need is found in Him.

My prayer is that you never strive to earn what has already been freely given. Simply receive His love. Rest in His presence. Remain in His love. Then allow that love to overflow into every life you touch.

Because when Love is received,

Love becomes the answer.

As Jesus says,

"Every heart is searching for love because every heart was created by Love. My Father loved you before you knew Him. I revealed that love on the cross, and I have given you My Spirit to live within you. Receive My love. Remain in My love. Then go and love as you have been loved. This is the life for which you were created."

May every person who reads these words discover that what they have been searching for has been searching for them all along—

the Father's love,

the Son's embrace,

and the abiding presence of the Holy Spirit.

May you know the joy of being deeply loved by God, and may His love in you become His love through you.

Love answered Love.

With gratitude to the Father,

through the Son,

by the power and presence of the Holy Spirit.

Bread of Life

John 6:35

"I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to Me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in Me shall never thirst."

Jesus never offered Himself as an addition to our lives. He offered Himself as Life.

We spend much of our lives feeding on things that can never truly satisfy—success, approval, possessions, accomplishments, even ministry. They may sustain us for a moment, but before long we find ourselves hungry again.

Jesus says, "Come to Me."

He doesn't merely give bread.

He is the Bread.

He alone satisfies the deepest hunger of the human heart because He alone is the life for which we were created. Every day He invites us back to His table—not because He wants something from us, but because He delights in giving Himself to us.

The Bread of Life is not reserved for special occasions. He is daily bread. His presence strengthens us for today's journey, His Word nourishes our souls, and His grace sustains us when our own strength is gone.

The greatest hunger we will ever experience is not for success or significance. It is for Jesus Himself. And the wonderful promise is this: those who come to Him will never leave empty.

Jesus says...

"Beloved, stop searching for satisfaction in things that were never meant to sustain you. Come to My table again today. Feed upon My Word. Rest in My presence. Receive My love. I am enough for this moment, enough for tomorrow, and enough forever. As you abide in Me, you will discover that I have always been the Bread your soul has longed for. Come, eat, and live."

Prayer

Father, thank You for sending Jesus, the true Bread of Life. Forgive us for feeding on things that leave us empty. Draw our hearts back to Your table each day, where Your presence satisfies every hunger and Your love fills every empty place. Teach us to abide in Christ, to trust Him as our daily provision, and to share the Bread of Life with a hungry world.

July 5, 2026 — Freedom

Jesus says,

"I did not create you to live in chains of fear, guilt, shame, or striving. I came to set you free—not merely to escape bondage, but to walk with Me as My beloved son or daughter. The freedom I give is not temporary or dependent on circumstances. It is the settled assurance that you belong to Me."

As we celebrate 250 years of freedom as a nation, our hearts are drawn even higher—to the freedom Christ purchased at Calvary more than two thousand years ago. Nations are gifts. Salvation is grace. Political liberty is precious, but the freedom Jesus gives reaches beyond borders, governments, and generations. "If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed."(John 8:36)

The world pursues freedom by removing restraints, but Jesus reveals that true freedom is found in surrender to Him. Freedom is not the right to do whatever we please; it is the joy of becoming all God created us to be. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom—not freedom to wander, but freedom to love, forgive, worship, and walk in the fullness of His life.

Freedom is more than a historical event or a political privilege. It is a daily invitation to live as sons and daughters who have been redeemed by grace. Christ has broken every chain so we may walk in hope, peace, and confident faith.

Jesus says,

"Come to Me and leave behind every weight you were never meant to carry. Stop striving to earn what I have already given you. Live from My love instead of working for it. Walk each day in the freedom I purchased for you. You are Mine, and whom I set free is free indeed."

Prayer

Father, thank You for the freedoms we enjoy as a nation, and even more for the eternal freedom purchased through Your Son, Jesus Christ. Teach us to walk each day as Your beloved sons and daughters—not striving, but abiding; not pretending, but believing. May our lives reflect the liberty found only in Christ, and may we boldly share that hope with a world longing to be truly free.
