“Harry: How can I help?
Draco: I’m not here to antagonize you. But my son is in tears and I am his father so I’m here to ask you why you would keep apart two good friends.”
Scorpius wrote to him. He must have.
Imagine him going up to the owlery, to his big eagle owl and sending a tear blotched letter back home. Albus won’t speak to me. His dad won’t let him. I’m all alone.
Imagine Draco receiving this letter. He’d be furious, obviously. He’d owl McGonagall. There’s nothing I can do. Mr. Potter cannot be reasoned with. He has threatened ministry action.
So what does he do? He marches down to the Potters’ house himself. Because his son is in tears, and he is his father.
