well, technically the first chapter is already posted, so I guess chap2 it'll be...?

Look. Edwin Payne had everything he needed. He had recently got his own flat (that he was renting, but at least he no longer had to deal with flatmates), he had amazing friends with busy schedules (he was the one responsible for managing their google calendar when they were trying to sort out a date for a meeting), and he had a good, stable job (he was still new to Mick's accounting office, but his boss was nice and he didn't mind explaining things to him).

3. Most recently written sentence of your current wip:

RIP i don't even know, I write it on ellipsus but I also have handwritten notes, and bits and pieces in my note app... I'm not even sure if that's the actual most recent thing, but

he needed to get away from thomas king as soon as possible. he needed to sit with his feelings - both the want and the shame, that craving for touch that made him feel like he had no control over himself-

4. Favourite lines in your current project?

I think I have a few more, but let's go with these ones I was able to find quickly lol:

"I want to move in with Edwin." "Who the fuck is Edwin?" "My boyfriend." "Oh. That." Desire wrinkled their nose. "What are you? U-haul lesbian?"

and

Edwin quickly downed the shot of vodka, and Thomas was watching him with amusement tugging on the corner of his lips. "For courage?" "For sterilising my mouth, actually." Thomas frowned, and words spilled out of Edwin's mouth without his control. "There's way too much- bacteria, and what not. Food particles. Alcohol helps to take care of it, partially-" "God, you're so weird," Thomas sighed dreamily. Then he drank his shot and dove in for a kiss.

5. How close is your project to the end?

NO IDEA 😭 I'm strugggling with sorting out the second chapter, but after that it should go smoothly, just silly fluff and all

Fanfics!!!! Eventually I want to write an original story that has been on the back burner but is still percolating. Fun fact: it's inspired by #Catwin dynamic. ^^

2. First two sentences of your WIP

It's a WIP chapter, so here are the first two sentences of Chapter 29: Charles:

Charles's thoughts inevitably return to that night, as the always do when his mind isn't occupied by other tasks. It niggles at his brain: Edwin returned late, the blue jumper, the pink flower in his hand.

3. Most recently written sentence of your current wip:

I'm just going to do the whole dialogue paragraph, otherwise it makes no sense and is too short.

"Oh, uhm. Well. Begonias have a multitude of meanings. It is hard to say." Edwin levels a serious look at Charles. "But that's not important just now. How was your chat with Crystal? Illuminating, I hope?"

4. Favourite lines in your current project?

I don't have any yet. I'm still in first draft mode AND IT ALL SUCKS. SO NO. NO SHARING. ;_;

5. How close is your project to the end?

Uhhhhh...... this chapter? They usually take me a month or two, unfortunately. God, I wish I was faster.

The whole PROJECT? Probably two years since I'm at the halfway point and it's taken me two years to get here already. ^^;;

WANT TO SEE WHAT SOME OF MY FAV PPL ARE UP TO? TAG!!! YOU'RE IT!!!

Under normal circumstances, I would have joked about Tian fucking the police, but the fuck, this is heartbreaking.

Every time Tian decides to open his heart and fall in love, the person he gives his heart to, promptly gives it back to him 😭
