Ochs*N Life

So far so good! It has been a challenging summer thus far, but I have been enjoying seeing God work in the students' lives here in Gulf Shores! We are in full swing of summer and I can't believe that it is almost half way through the project already. The staff leave on July 7, which is coming up quickly. After that, Team Leaders step in as pseudo staff and run the project! 

Upcoming events:

This weekend is Relationships Conference where we will look into what God says about relationships in the Bible and what a Biblical relationship consists of. 

Next weekend is Missions Conference. We will be traveling to Destin, FL, to unite with all 4 Kaleo projects to hear from Kevin Tieman (Missions director with StuMo in India) about God's heart for the world!

Highlights over the past week:

Hearing from Heath Alexander (staff member) about what it looks like to dig deep in studying the Bible and why it is necessary for a walk with God. 

On Monday nights, we have started praying for our campus. This is a time that we take an hour to be dedicated to praying for people on our campuses to know Jesus and have a relationship with Him. 

A small highlight was that I got to babysit a little girl named Hannah. She is the daughter of the woman that disciples me and I love her!

My sister left for South Africa today! Pray for her.

Prayer requests:

For wisdom in teaching others about what a relationship with God consists of.

For a deep walk with God that would flow over to others. 

For the students at the project to desire to impact others by obedience to the Great Commission. 

For the men and women at Kaleo that don't know Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, that they would see how much God loves them and that they would share that with others!

31 days until I leave for Kaleo. I can't barely contain the excitement. With so much to do and such little time, it seems like there is more time than there is. Preparing is going well. I am at home this weekend and thrilled to be spending time with family! In three weeks I will be done with this semester and on to the summer! Crazy how time flies.

For efficiency in preparing for the summer.

Wisdom with time and ministry.

Ministry on campus to flourish and the name of Jesus Christ would continue to be made known. 

For college students to experience of power of God in their lives personally and want to make Him their Lord and Savior of their lives.
