So I’m thinking greater access to potential clients, right?! YES! Although, not everyone that has an account will need services from you, the majority that do will find you, through EXPOSURE!
In order to be reached, consistency is key. There are at least 2 easy ways to increase your exposure, you ready for this?
Really, it’s that easy! But don’t shout too much just yet…there’s some cons to this…
Once exposed, you must be consistent; that takes commitment. Enough said.
Too much exposure can be a bad thing when you have nothing to say. Change your topic up. Do a week-long series about the Anatomy of a Web Design, then switch it up to talk about Facebook. It shows versatility and knowledge in relevant topics. People will unfollow you because of boredom. Plain and simple.
Commitment: takes actual dedication to post, and not just post, but post regularly. Are you willing to do that? Once your exposed, people will notice trends in accuracy.
Suggestion: hire someone to take care of your social media accounts
Last but definitely not least: Reputation. Remember last night when you played beer pong and your best friend posted a pic of you wasted and tagged you? Yep, that just hurt your reputation. Many think that this only pertains to only your personal Facebook account, but if you are a business owner on facebook…guess what? Yeah, we know who you are and what you do! I’m not saying to cease all fun, but be careful when you are striving to be a business owner what could possibly end up on the WWW.
