I made a car? I think.

And a car park. These cars are red. they go faster.

Then we started working with physics on Unity. That was a lot of fun. check out this GiF i made.

I made a Barrel.

I just want to shoot it to see if it will blow up.

I also worked on this bear, didn't quite get it finished but learned a lot.

Then we were asked to build a table.

Mine was for short people.

And last we were asked to make this Telephone.

I didn't quite get it finished but it was starting to look like a telephone.

This morning we were told we would be doing a game jam based on board games. Quickly organised into groups, Angus, Zane and myself began work on THE GREATEST BOARD GAME EVER MADE!!!. 

Just before lunch time we started to notice this was in fact THE WORST BOARD GAME EVER MADE!!! The game didn't work at all. We had wasted half our day making something that was no longer viable. What should we do?....Lunch. 

 Coming back in from Lunch we all had the same basic idea, keep it simple stupid. In the end we had a game called Heart of War. 

How To Make The BOARD: The board is a triangle Shape made out of four triangles, the outer triangle are split into pyramids and the middle is split into three like so 

Pieces: Each player needs 3 cards, one of each colour (Red, Blue,Green) each player will also need six meeples,three Attack and three defense.

How to play: Starting at red and moving clockwise each player takes it in turns to move one of their units one space each. 

When moving into an occupied space you will initiate attack, The winner is decided in a rock, paper, scissors style combat system (red beats green, green beats blue, blue beats red) 

If the attacker wins, the defender is removed from the game, if the defender wins, the attacker moves back to his previous space. In the event of a draw the combat is unresolved and the two players are locked in battle, the non participating player may take a free move before combat commences, the third player if next to the said battle can also move into that space creating a three way battle. 

The winner of the game is determined by the first player to get one of their pieces into the last space in an oppositions corner.    

This was a fun exercise, yet very exhausting and stressful, managing time constraints and moving from the idea process to the prototype process is quite difficult. All in all a very fun lesson.

The first project I worked on was building a terrain and having fun with it. Trees falling through the floor, bodies of water at different heights and mountains that shouldn't be allowed to exist.

The second project we were asked to work on was to select a picture and try to recreate it using Unity. the picture i selected was probably way beyond my capabilities but I gave it a go.

I worked on this for a little while before a simple save crashed to desktop because of a lack of space on the hard drive *facepalm*. My second go produced small results but it’s a start and i look forward to continuing my work on it.

“Life Is Strange” is a cinematic style game about a young student named Max who likes photography. The game gives you many different decisions to make that have consequences on how the story plays out. Max appears to be struggling with her own mental demons. The game starts off in what appears to be a dream sequence, and this teaches the player a few of the basic controls. Upon waking, Max is in a classroom, and you begin to explore the inside of the school. Most of the objects can be interacted with, such as posters and other students. After witnessing a shocking incident, Max discovers she has the ability to control time. The game gives you time to rewind and consider what the consequence of each previous decision may be.
